@omarwasm @getshadowai already did! - Local-first (transcription & storage) - Auto-exports transcripts & notes as .md to a local folder - Webhook-ready to connect anywhere - Fully automatic — starts & stops with your meetings.

@getshadowai does everything @meetgranola does. What Shadow won't do: ❌ Hold your own data hostage & charge you for it What Shadow does: ✅ Local-first (transcription & storage) ✅ Auto-exports transcripts & notes as .md to a local folder ✅ Webhook-ready to connect anywhere + Fully automatic — starts & stops with your meetings.

@gregisenberg @getshadowai automatically detects your meetings, transcribes them, and generates notes — all exported as .md straight to your vault. Shadow can seriously level up the workflow!

how to use obsidian + claude code to build a 24/7 personal operating system and build your startup: 1. write everything in markdown (daily notes, projects, beliefs, people, meetings) 2. link your notes together so they mirror how your brain actually thinks. 3. install obsidian cli so claude code can read your entire vault + the relationships. 4. stop reexplaining projects every session. use reference files instead. 5. build custom slash commands: /context → load your full life + work state /trace → see how an idea evolved over months /connect → bridge two domains you’ve been circling /ideas → generate startup ideas from your vault /graduate → promote daily thoughts into real assets 6. keep a strict rule: human writes the vault. agents read it, suggest, execute. 7. let claude aka clode surface patterns you’ve been unconsciously circling for years. 8. delegate from inside your notes. one sentence in obsidian → agent handles the rest. 9. treat writing as leverage.the more you write, the more context your agents have. 10. understand this:markdown files are the oxygen of llms. i really enjoyed seeing how to use obsidian thanks to @internetvin vin uses ai like a thinking partner wired into his life’s work. 99.99% of people won’t do this because it requires reflection + setup. but once the vault exists, the agent stops being generic. it starts thinking in your voice. episode is live on @startupideaspod (more there) this one is different. send this tweet to a friend. im still processing how game changer obsidian + claude code is, maybe you too watch

Startup idea that customers are begging to buy right now. Open Granola -Same meeting capture (no bot joining calls) -macOS Native desktop app -Notes stored as markdown files. -API (not MCP) -Local-first, or privacy. - Agent-readable by default. -Plays nicely with ai-first tools. Granola just locked down their local db, went MCP only. Someone is going to build a more open version and print money. If you build this... 1. I'll buy it and be your first customer. 2. I'll help you launch and get users. DM me the link.

Sorry to see Granola @meetgranola going closed. They encrypted their local db, no local and no cloud API. In a world where notes are managed by agents, the app now has zero value. Any recommendations for good alternatives? What are you switching to?

@sarrazola a lot of people dont know how to design with advanced software like figma they'd just rather claude code the ui (which, it is starting to have the ability to do)

Too many meetings? Honestly, I thought I had it bad. But Shadow’s data is a reality check: our top 10% of users are hitting 36 meetings a week. That’s just insane. How do they even get work done? Most don't. They’re either skipping follow-ups or living in overtime.Only way they’re surviving is by leaning on AI. We're seeing them run 20+ AI tasks a week just to keep their heads above water.

I have a lot of really useful software on my computer, but @RewindAI comes in SO clutch on the regular. You literally rewind everything you did or saw on your Mac. It's saved me so many times. 🔥

You don't need to ask your friends to upvote your launch anymore. It's worthless. For those planning to launch on @ProductHunt, the game has completely changed. I launched @getshadowai yesterday and luckily hit #4. My last launch was earlier this year, and it's completely different now. @ProductHunt was cool but became a place where bad actors were gaming the system. They didn't seem to address it for years. There were obvious bot accounts it felt like 70% of upvotes were fake. Now they finally filter them out aggressively. I don't know exactly how, but one thing I've noticed is they ignore upvotes from inactive accounts. So you don't need to ask your friends, friends of friends, and their friends to upvote anymore. I like it this way far better. The new rule actually works against me since I have lots of friends but none are active on PH. Still see some abuse, but it's definitely a step forward.
