@HedgesnVideos Yeah i had the impression that this dlc will disrupt the workshop market. Either box skin prices are going to go down or people will stop buying large box skins. Who knows though maybe it wont.

The Upcoming Boxes DLC appears to be a Large Box set. For example, considering the full set of Sinotype costs just over $50...what price is this DLC going to be sold for? What does that mean for all of the large box collections in Rust? #Rust #Playrust #Rustskins

Yeah but i can see this as a temp solution, until they reinstall the ping to be percisely accurate without anyway for server owners to change it. When i try looking for a server, All the high ping looking servers tend to give discomfort towards choosing the right one, whilst loading into a low looking ping server and then finding out it has high ping can be demorilizing. So id get rid of it, hoping they plan to relook this in the future.

This would be a great solution for the servers faking their ping to get more players and show higher on the list, to sell more VIPs, which has been a prevalent issue for years. I've always noticed Moose servers do this which I find incredibly moraly wrong but several others do aswell as shown in the screenshot below (I'm argentinian and I get 160-210 ping in the US and 240-290 in EU)

I had this idea for a while. I would be better if aquiring BP frags was done by researching blueprints, and then adding bp frags to all tech tree costs. Making researching items a priority and tech treeing a last resort if you cant find that one item you need and have extra bp frags laying around. This would further enhance the idea of exploration. With this idea i would multiply the bp frag requirement for workbench crafting to balance it out and give the tiers more longevity

This is my biggest nemesis in Rust right now 😭 it’s easier to snowball to an Ak then get blueprint frags

@Protox0 Could be using that metal rowboat thats been in the game files for ever but not actually in the game. A metal rowboat that uses power instead of low grade sounds cool.

So, i like how it says at the top that they will acknowledge community sentiment. Im looking at the replies and a lot of people are feeling resentment towards the battlepass. There are a lot of things in here i am excited for: workbench upgrades, progression improvements, new terrain renderer, and terrain deformation, which is something id wanted to see for a long while. The progression in this game is completely unbalanced and the terrain is somewhat too cramped together with the all these monuments and the jungle update out.

Motion to remove these from the game: Its pointless to play wipe day, when I can log in day 2 Go to the safe zone, buy 5 blueprint frags, a weapon and ammo for ONLY ~60 scrap and ~90 crude or 900 sulf. And then with 200 scrap unlock the whole T2 tech tree

@RustylootGG The amount of effort put in to the constant amount of content added to the game is much appreciated, but i think the majority of issues with rust is optimization, performance, and the cheater infestion. Plus there are some things in the game that could use some rebalancing.

Since a lot of people seem to be unhappy with Rust in 2025 What would you want to see Rust add to "fix" the game?

You guys are literally the best development team for a game ever. 12 years of consistent updates to Rust is just insane. So don't stress out your holidays over a bump on the road, even if it is a big one. That's the best call to make, delaying it further if its not ready yet. Enjoy your holidays, Facepunch!
