@jamesbenge When it comes to Arsenal I’m positive people lose all sense of reasoning. From the 80th - 90th the ball was in play for less than three minutes because of the Gabriel Haaland incident and then Rodri injury. On top of city time wasting. If anything there should have been more 😂

If I were Thomas Tuchel, I would never call up Arsenal players who faked injuries to withdraw from the national team. Noni Madueke was the only player who was genuinely injured, while players like Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka clearly faked injuries. The same goes for Martín Zubimendi and Piero Hincapié. Players seem more loyal to their clubs than to their countries.

If anyone has an issue with this they’ve never witnessed a team deep into a title race. If these were WCQ or Euro/AFCON/Copa qualifiers this wouldn’t be happening but if players are locked in for a World Cup spot and already know the system, they might as well get rest. There’s a reason why none of our players are itching to come back fyi.

Remember the outrage last time when Barcelona withdrew Lamine Yamal from the Spain squad? The double standards in football are insane. Not saying with 100% surety Martín Zubimendi’s discomfort isn’t genuine, but Arsenal have withdrawn 3–4 players in a single day, it’s pretty obvious what’s going on.
