@Jayneylee @richardosman @AGH1494 Same. It was a good close week on HoG, and don’t get me started on no Gardeners World!
English

@richardosman @AGH1494 I turned over at 6pm for House of Games and was disappointed that it was delayed as I like to watch my local news after it on BBC 1 - not everyone likes to watch snooker.
English

@AGH1494 Just looking at the ratings this morning, and at the time it was taken off there were 1.4m people watching, which is easily the biggest rating frame of the Championships so far. Very, very unfortunate timing.

@RupertLowe10 I'd say he's a complete outsider in the UK if he thinks it's acceptable to commit this crime. Deportation should be inevitable.
English

This Nigerian man successfully fought a deportation on human rights grounds.
He has just been jailed for 17 years for dragging a young woman into woods and assaulting her. He was already on bail for another rape allegation.
The BBC reports he has a "fascination" for forced sexual abuse.
"He grabbed her by the mouth and forced her into woods, where he carried out a violent rape."
Why wasn't he deported before his latest crime? Read this...
From the BBC - "The judge at the immigration tribunal in 2024 said the matter was "finely balanced", arguing the offence Oladele had committed was "very serious" and that there was "a strong public interest in deporting and excluding foreign criminals, especially one who has committed a frightening and public assault".
But the fact that Oladele would be "a complete outsider should he relocate to Nigeria" and that he had a "developed private life having grown up in the United Kingdom" outweighed the public interest in deporting him.'
The judge said he posed 'exceptionally high risk of harm to young women'.
What the hell are we doing to ourselves? Honestly?
Two words.
Death penalty.
Restore Britain would give the British people a say if they want savage animals like this put to death.

Really sad to hear about the end of Football Focus.
I loved that show growing up. I used to watch it every week with my dad and I remember how proud he was when I got the job. It was such a privilege to sit in the chair for 12 years, work with an amazing team on and off air and form so many lasting friendships.
Saturdays were always special.
The football landscape is constantly changing and it’s disappointing that there isn’t space for a show that has meant so much to so many people for so many years.

@sharrond62 Trans always has been and always will be a mental illness
English

Good grief… 😔
Barry Wall@HeadWarriorTWM
Right. Not at all perverted. And still folk won't get it.
English

@Glinner He can't believe what he's saying, it's just plain wrong. Everyone does have the same rights. If you're born a man you have male rights, if you're born a woman you have women's rights. That's it, no cross over because you choose to live as the other gender, tough.
English

@Lels1960 @BBC @Channel4 @clarebalding Totally agree! Jamie Laing and Ade Adepitan are no match for Katherine Grainger and Matthew Pin sent. Why can't things be left alone 🙄
English

Please send the #boatrace back to the @BBC. The commentary on @Channel4 is awful. Whoever did it was talking nonstop rubbish. 😡 Thank goodness @clarebalding is there.
English

@sharrond62 I have friends and family, intelligent and well educated, that have bought into this rubbish, defending it and I just don't get it. To me it has always been obvious it is a mental illness. Mentally ill angry men choosing violence when they don't get their own way.
English

This will happen more & more, until we recognise this is a mental illness & take precautions/treat these individuals responsibly. Why would any woman feel safe sharing a changing room or enclosed bathroom with this person? We are giving a green light to these dangerous men who are filling themselves full of drugs as well as feeling they can force their delusions on others.

Trans gunman who opened fire on his family members at hockey match had ongoing ‘family dispute’ over his gender identity. Robert Dorgan, who identified as ‘Roberta’ killed a family member and a family friend when he opened fire at the hockey game in Rhode Island. In 2020 police were called to a family dispute where Dorgan revealed to police he had undergone gender transition surgery and said his father-in-law wanted to kick him out because of it. Dorgan had an ongoing dispute with his family members over the years, with authorities revealing the shooting directly stemmed from a ‘dispute.’ Source: Daily Mail

This programme has stopped me eating ham and chicken nuggets, started looking at every single package I now eat. I can’t choose cereal though. Someone help me with cereal #whatnottoeat
English

@Poppyblew I did think the timing of that ad was inappropriate
English

@salltweets I'm not sure that people who leave their body to medical science had this in mind as advancement in procedures 🙄
English

Sorry but the amount of teams is silly, pot 4 is just ridiculous #WorldCup2026
English

@CallThemOut89 @AaronJEng1 Makes no sense really does it. It's getting more confusing now which I didn't think was possible 😕
English

I’m watching the draw on mute, as on the train. Why can’t certain countries be in the same group? #WorldCup2026
