Watching MAGA influencers like @NickSortor or @EricLDaugh cheer Trump telling Tennessee to redraw for a 9-0 GOP map is embarrassing.
Gerrymandering is a DISGRACE when Democrats do it.
It is ALSO a disgrace when Republicans do it.
Pick a principle and STICK to it.
Politicians of BOTH parties carving up districts to pre-select their voters is the political class rigging the game against you. That's the whole scam. Incumbents drawing safe seats so they NEVER face a real challenge.
If you cheered when SCOTUS struck down Louisiana's racial gerrymander because "the Constitution is colorblind" and districts shouldn't be drawn to engineer outcomes, then you don't get to turn around 24 hours later and demand your team engineer outcomes harder.
Voters should pick politicians. Politicians shouldn't pick voters.
End the racket. Independent maps. Compact districts. Stop letting the apparatus pre-cook your elections.

@greendragonhq Redraws are done every 10 years. Blue states already did theirs. Texas map was in court, and red states all had to add black majority districts to their 2020 maps… so blue states are pushing to redraw, because of the suspected gains red states would get… Florida and Tennessee

@EricSpracklen Well us doesn’t have the infrastructure to refine our own oil so we export it and import the heavier oil that we can refine… oil is a global commodity driven by global demand, less oil means higher oil prices including in the us

Can anyone honestly say that the current movement of America hasn't been to disenfranchise black people? Affirmative action, gone. DEI considerations, gone. Black military leadership, gone. Black women in government jobs, gone. Black History, erased. Voting rights, suppressed. Civil Rights, gone. Even the MAGA tap dancers are being removed.
One thing for sure is that we are currently moonwalking back in time to a time that "Makes America Great Again" for some people. It's no longer a hidden agenda.

I am introducing a Constitutional Amendment to end Birthright Citizenship. Under current interpretations of American law, anyone born on American soil automatically becomes a U.S. citizen, regardless of whether the parent was here legally or not. This is wrong and not at all the intent of those who wrote the 14th Amendment. We are a country filled with immigrants, and legal immigration is valuable and should be protected. But we are also a country whose borders have been too open and our generosity exploited too often. President Trump has moved to seal our border from illegal immigrants more than any other president. But we will have more to do. We need to make sure that only children born to legal residents of the U.S. are automatically citizens. I have supported protecting birthright citizenship from abuse since the beginning of my tenure in the Senate, when I cosponsored the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011, and now I am proposing an amendment to protect United States citizenship in case the Supreme Court fails to address this issue correctly.
