See this gravel road? It’s actually not a gravel road This is the boat ramp at Lake Corpus Christi in Texas The entire lake is critically low due to prolonged severe droughts across South Texas. When though the water is so critically low, water in the area is being directed for industrial uses like petrochemical and LNG There has to be a serious honest discussion about how much water corporations are being allowed to use for their projects while Americans watch their lakes dry up, their rivers disappear and their farmland go dry They make billions, we get nothing

@KatoIdaho One must look at every waterway that feeds the dam. How many dams on those waterways are upstream. What is the levels behind each dam. They ran dry the Platte river previously....

We have a gravely serious problem with drought. Why would anyone be permitting any industry that consumes water right now?!?

I am screaming to the free world out there, maybe someone will finally hear us. It has now been 6 months since @USCISJoe stopped processing not some, but all applications from hundreds of thousands of LEGAL immigrants, despite collecting over $1 billion in application fees. Many affected individuals, including me, have already lost their jobs because work permits are no longer being renewed or issued. We are left in limbo, with no way to support our spouses and children, no health insurance, and no ability to obtain or renew driver’s licenses. Imagine legally working in critical fields like AI and medicine just a few months ago, and now being forced to stay home, unable to even afford groceries. They are taking away the legal status and careers we spent years building, putting highly skilled LEGAL immigrants at risk of deportation. We have done nothing wrong in our immigration cases, yet our applications remain frozen, pushing people out of status or making life so difficult that they are forced to give up and leave the country. All of this is happening in silence. Major media outlets are barely covering this crisis. There is no serious public discussion, no national attention, and no meaningful congressional debate.

@MarshalHolliday @CurrentRevolt religious freedom, yes. However Islam is a political ideology that offers no freedom to people who do not choose it. Therefore it is not compatible with the constitution of the USA. It needs to go.
