@Alpine_Hermit @JamesMelville Utter nonsense ! It is sold at market prices… It will make near zero difference to the market pricing. Sure, once processed it may go into UK network but Rosebank is 90% oil which will be shipped and there is no gas pipeline in place yet.

You’re the ignorant one, the gas is piped straight into the UK distribution system. This means that the UK is not reliant in insecure gas from Qatar. Moreover, the UK then isn’t bidding for the highly constrained gas, so prices don’t go as high due to the extra gas being pumped from the North Sea.

@paullewismoney That is a shame ! Stonehenge deserves the road to be diverted/tunnelled… In UK we do seem to faff around for ages and ages spending millions on studies and assessments that seem to be never ending. We need to faff less and build more.
