Couple points: 1. 39 states and D.C. have legal betting markets. Las Vegas/Nevada, while synonymous with gambling, is nowhere near the largest betting market in the U.S. anymore. Additionally, prediction markets and daily fantasy sites operate in states that haven’t legalized betting. Where do you want the NCAA to hold events? 2. Releasing injury reports is an effort to decrease the value of information via transparency. It’s an effort to reduce the pressure on athletes and others to disclose this information.

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch.
Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license.
If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect.
This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.

The operating revenue for the University of Arkansas is over $800 million. The two tennis programs cost about $800,000. The school can afford to keep tennis. It is just choosing to spend this money on something else.
