Marathon taking d2 funding and talent was the result of mismanagement not the cause of it. It is all sony and bungie leadership.

I feel so bad for the Marathonbros because there's just no possible hope for this game. Normies hate it because it became part of the Concordian prophecy, and D2 players hate it because it stole resources from their favorite game. It failed to capture a wider audience because Sunsetting gave Bungie the reputation of toxic nuclear waste, and it failed to capture a larger niche audience because it wasn't hardcore enough for the typical extraction shooter crowd. Various mishandlings also made the early hardcore meta awful to play, and level-based matchmaking put streamers against stream snipers and cheaters constantly. Both of these misfortunes contributed significant damage to its social media presence and reputation as a "bad game." All of this sucks because Marathon is objectively a well produced game: Its style is amazing (if polarizing), it's not overly monetized or anti-player, and its bones are very solid. The potential for greatness in this game is most certainly not nonexistent. Marathon deserved better, yet I do not envy the team trying to turn this mishap into a miracle.

Bungie should relaunch Destiny 2 and turn it into Destiny Infinity ONE game where the ENTIRE Light and Darkness Saga is available From Destiny 1 to Renegades, and then move forward with brand new content and story Multiple games sucks for narrative and New Player experience

Saying @MarathonTheGame is a bad game because of "player count" is judging a game solely on it's financials. Using that same logic = Fortnite is one of the greatest games of all time and Titanfall 2 is trash.

However now that d2 is not getting anymore dlcs then its unknown. In both cases destiny is too expensive to run, so marathon beats in profits.

Because the Red War is no longer compatible with the current build and could not be brought up into court after Bungie was sued for copyright infringement. They stole the Red War story from someones book and did not give them any credit nor did they even ask permission. They probably don't want to even talk about the Red War, none the less recreate it or redownload it in any way. Unfortunately it's just gone... #destiny2 still can install the original 30gb base game from disc on xbox. I just wish you could still launch it into campaign. Like you can literally download the original version why can't #bungie just release an online patch for the og release so we can play red war already
