You know that feeling you get when you’re Jewish and hear about an #AntiSemitic attack? That’s the feeling I shared this morning with public officials at Staten Island’s Jewish legislative breakfast.

I was in a synagogue this morning when I heard of today’s awful shooting in Pittsburgh. Hatred and antisemitism are abhorrent and should be denounced by all parts of our society. My heart goes out to the victims and their families.

An attack on the Jewish community anywhere is an attack on the Jewish community here and we stand with them shoulder to shoulder. We will continue to have increased NYPD presence at synagogues and community organizations in the coming days.

Our thoughts are with the victims and families of Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. We stand today with our Jewish brothers and sisters after this act of hate and recommit ourselves to work towards an end to gun violence.

I am horrified by the shooting at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue. This is a disgusting anti-Semitic attack on the Jewish community. We must speak out against hate in all its forms. My deepest condolences go out to the families of the victims of this terrible tragedy.

New York grieves for those who were killed and prays for those who were injured in this heinous anti-Semitic attack in Pittsburgh. As a nation we must stand together and stand against the corrosive and destructive forces of hate in all of its forms.

I’m grateful for the sacrifices of law enforcement, who charged ahead into this chaotic scene to save lives. We are praying for all those hurt, for the family & friends of those who lost their lives in this despicable act of violence, & for the entire Pittsburgh Jewish community.

Sad day in America. We morn the victims in Pittsburg. Hate of any kind, to any people must not be tolerated. To all in the Jewish community, we are with you.

Unspeakable tragedy as 11 lives were gunned down and others injured while in shul on Shabbos morning. This was a cowardly act of Anti-Semitism. This will not shake our resolve. We pray for those injured. We mourn those lost and express our condolences to their families.

I am deeply disturbed by the attack on a synagogue in Pittsburgh, and my heart breaks for the victims and their families. Anti-semitism and hate-motivated violence have no place in our society. We must all stand in solidarity with the Jewish community during this tragic time.

Utah stands with the Jewish community. We will never let you stand alone against bigotry and hate. Heartbroken. Fearful for our country. Far too much anger and hatred in our society. All of us can do better. All of us.

We grieve for the Americans murdered in Pittsburgh. All of us have to fight the rise of anti-Semitism and hateful rhetoric against those who look, love, or pray differently. And we have to stop making it so easy for those who want to harm the innocent to get their hands on a gun.

Our nation was founded to protect religious liberty. An attack on people of faith is an attack on all of us. We stand united with the Jewish community and pray for everyone affected by today's tragic events.

Coming online after Shabbos to terrible news from PA. Today I went to shul with my family to pray & tomorrow I’ll do the same. But 11 of my brethren won’t have that opportunity. I’m deeply, deeply saddened at this horrific loss. May God bless their families and all those injured.
