Dear Dutch Tax Authority,
I had a wonderful time in your great country and my company made a large investment there, altogether in excess of 50,000 Euros.
We made a 5,000 Euro REFUNDABLE deposit for VAT taxes which you refuse to return until 2032!
Realistically, with inflation, 5,000 Euro won't buy herring and a stroopwaffel in 2032.
Can you return the money back now?
We paid all our taxes correctly and on time and we are, for now, not doing business in the Netherlands.
We intended to return after focussing on Germany, but we won't if this is how business is done in Holland.

Kunt u het geld nu terugstorten?
We hebben al onze belastingen correct en op tijd betaald, en we doen op dit moment geen zaken meer in Nederland.
We waren van plan terug te keren nadat we ons op Duitsland hadden gericht, maar dat zullen we niet doen als dit de manier van zakendoen in Nederland is.
