@jvTALK @FiresideYankees We "knew" Duran as a SI Yankee. Good dude, gave my kid a couple of baseballs over his last season and worked with him a bit at a camp they had. Seeing his name on the Gallo trade REALLY bothered me. More-so now that he is having a great season. Still a fan, we we sh him the best.

@MichaelEddy6 A trade piece no one mentions, in the Gallo deal the Yankees sent minor league infielder Ezequiel Duran to Texas. He is currently hitting .308 with 7 HR's, 23 RBI and a .874 OPS. And he's a really really good dude too.

@SonRanto I've always been a fan of the big classy 1B. being a Yankee fan, I've seen my fair share. Chambliss, Tino, Texeira. Of course Mattingly. The history of 1B with Gehrig and so on. For me, getting a guy like Rizzo in pinstripes just made sense. A statue at Wrigley makes sense too.
