An exciting story we've dicovered in my postdoc time! Have you heard 4mC in eukaryotes? No but now here it is! We've found 4mC indeed exist in a eukaryote Marchantia sperm and important for sperm function along with another 5mC DNA reprogramming during sperm development! ☀️
