@Pharmacio001 @GIbadin @ADCVanguard_ How convenient to say there is nothing like zoning. You were not aware that " zoning " wasn't a constitutional provision when, in 2014, North insisted on power returning to the North. In 2019, Southern Nigeria conceded power to North, thereby allowing Atiku to rival Buhari.

Nigerians, please judge this case between consensus and direct primaries in the ADC. Atiku demanded a consensus arrangement, but Obi said no—he doesn’t believe in that and influenced others to reject it. Atiku later called for direct primaries, and again Obi said no, claiming he doesn’t have enough members to compete with others. Peter Obi want a free ticket, where he would be picked, and secondly be allowed to handpick Kwankwaso as his VP candidate. The ADC has certain rules and regulations. There’s no way you would be handed a free ticket and still be allowed to choose a VP by yourself—it’s not POssible.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Peter Obi leaves ADC. But that’s not what I want to say. Look at this part of his speech. You can feel that righteous lamentation and fatigue. He is thrown into an abyss of perplexity that people would not want a nation that works for all. This is Peter Obi. Around three Sundays ago like this, some were saying Peter Obi is evil because he aligned himself with some politicians. I remember clearly telling them that the structure doesn’t matter because we can trust Peter’s integrity. Today, we have been proven right. Peter Obi leaves ADC because his principles to see a Nigeria where we don’t pay kidnappers doesn’t align with those in that structure. I’ve wanted to say it before. Peter Obi doesn’t want power. He is not desperate to be president. There’s nothing being a president would give him that he doesn’t have or have experienced. He has lead several banks, so seeing huge money won’t be a coveted experience. He has met many world leaders, so that international association won’t be his motivation. He is a billionaire who only has one house in Onitsha. He is content. He doesn’t want to loot your money. He is running because he hates what the country that gave him everything has become. He wants the country that worked for him to work for you. That’s his only motive. It’s why it rather baffles me when people try to shame Obidients by saying, “Peter Obi will never be president.” You think that’s our goal? He is a means to our end of seeing a Nigeria that works. That’s all. To you all, it is politics. To us, it is Nigeria. If Peter goes to another party, we will follow him because we trust him. But I think he hasn’t been hit emotionally like this before. I hope he finds strength. Hold on, Peter. Just fight, we will fight with you. But whatever happens, I’ll like to end with this: Peter Obi won’t feel the effect of a bad government. Peter Obi doesn’t need the loot that comes from politics. The outcome of a bad government will affect you and I the most. I hope we all internalize this and be prepared for the consequences of our actions.

@ishaqsamaila5 How competent has Tinubu proved to be? Has killings in the North reduced? Are you better today than you were before Tinubu? If you base your vote on competence, then you have no business voting Tinubu.

As a northerner, I’ll say this clearly — I will campaign and vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu again. Even if I remain the only Muslim northerner standing on that decision, I will still vote for him. And this idea that we must support someone simply because he is “our own” is outdated and counterproductive. For years, the North has produced leaders at the highest level. The honest question is: what measurable progress can we point to? Too often, leadership has been reduced to regional sentiment, patronage, and empty loyalty — while real development takes a back seat. Enough of that. I refuse to vote based on geography or identity. I will vote based on capacity, results, and direction. Nigeria is bigger than North or South. Leadership should be about competence, not origin. And I stand firmly by that decision.

A CASTRATED BUNCH OF FRUSTRATED CLOWNS... Given the fact that they have been castrated by the courts and INEC and they no longer have a party and platform to stand and run on, the Association of Destructive C*nts (ADC) now have more to worry about than @realFFK and @renoomokri! Who are the ones that have been REJECTED now??? 🤣 They have been REJECTED by the courts, REJECTED by INEC, REJECTED by their original founders and REJECTED by the Nigerian people for being erratic, unstable, unreliable, unserious, irrational, epileptic, divided, crooked, hopelessly corrupt, palpably insane and wholly incapable of forming a united, disciplined and battle-ready political party! They can't even form a party and hold it together yet they want to rule Nigeria? God forbid! To be sure they are not just a danger to themselves but to our country! May I suggest that they channel all their energy to building up and forming a real opposition party over the next 5 years and then field a candidate for the 2031 presidential election? Given the circumstances that is their best bet because 2027 is already lost to them. INEC and the courts have spoken. The ADC has been gelded. They have been left with no balls. They are now a party of eunuchs. They no longer have a platform. They are like a headless chicken. They are like a sorcerer with no staff. They are like a witch with no wand. They are like a racehorse with no legs. They are like a race car with no engine. They are like a ship with no sail. They are like a castle with no walls. They are like a warrior with no sword. They are like a Knight with no armour. They are like a jilted lover who is all dressed up with nowhere to go. Poor souls. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. This is what happens when all you do is pose for group shots, talk balderdash on television, contract an army of malignant and malevolent trolls on social media, employ the services of leporous and incompetent spokesmen, contract rag sheets to spread lies and fake news, rely on your foreign friends to bring carnage and destruction and destabilise our country and lament from morning till night without offering any concrete solutions. Frankly they got what they deserved. Actually I believe they deserve even worse and worse will surely come their way. To my friends and brothers in the ADC I say "Pe le o", stay calm and have a great day! 😂 (FFK)

They can blow as much hot air, enlist as many big names, engage in as many photo ops, appear on all the television stations for their shallow and meaningless interviews and peddle as much fake news as they like but judging from their internal wranglings and warring factions it is getting clearer by the day that the ADC may not even be in a position to field an INEC-recognised presidential candidate in the next election. Supporting or joining ADC may ultimately end up being an exercise in futility for those that insist on treading that thorny path. I appeal to them to get their house in order, bury their differences and stop taking each other to court so that they can produce a legitimate candidate that is recognised by INEC who we can have the opportunity to beat the hell and nonsense out of in the 2027 presidential election. Winning will not be as much fun unless we give them a good hiding in the field of battle. Whichever way they should prepare for a mighty fall and the greatest humiliation in the history of Nigerian politics.

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Is a Great Nigerian, But Here's Why Kano Would Vote for President Tinubu in 2027 I appeal to everybody who supports President Bola Tinubu to treat Mallam Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso with courtesy, as he looks set to join another opposition party. You are not from a low political culture of insults, abuse, and boorish behaviour. We know those who behave like that. Do not descend to their level. Mr Kwankwaso is a formidable politician who loves Nigeria, and for democracy to thrive, there must be opposition. The thing is, we have about ten months to the next election. If supporters of President Tinubu can show, by their conduct, that they are well-brought-up, well-mannered, and display mutual respect, their attitude can go a long way toward making even opposition politicians warm to the President's re-election. You don't have to be in the All Progressives Congress to support President Bola Tinubu. All you need to be is a patriot. By displaying the highest level of gentlemanly conduct, there is every possibility that Alhaji Kwankwaso, and not only him, but many others, will see the wisdom in keeping Nigeria stable, by respecting the principle of rotation of power between the North and South, and also appreciating the many socioeconomic and political strides of the Tinubu administration, which have benefited all Nigerians, and specifically the people of Kano, who have seen their federal allocation more than double under President Tinubu. It is prudent at this time to mention some of the specific projects of this administration, and those from past regimes that have been revived under Tinubu, and which favour Kano State, including: The Ajaokuta-Abuja-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline being constructed for $2.89 billion or ₦4.5 trillion. The Kano-Kaduna rail line for $1.2 billion or ₦2 trillion. The Kano light rail project, for which the Tinubu administration has already allocated ₦150 billion. The 465-kilometre Trans-Saharan Road being constructed at a price of an estimated $750 million or ₦1.2 trillion. Approval of ₦334 billion for the Kano–Kongolom Road project in Kano State. The ongoing massive reconstruction of the Kano–Maiduguri Road. Approval and disbursement of ₦47 billion for the completion of the long-abandoned Jakara–Wuju–Wuju road and sewage project in Kano. Introduction of the Kano-Lagos narrow rail express service for cargo and agricultural produce to boost exports. These are just a few of the projects that the President has targeted in Kano to show his love and affection for the Kanawa people. Of course, continuity at the federal and state levels in Kano will augur well for the continuation of the intense development strides underway in the state. This message can be adequately projected rather than any hostility towards a great Nigerian who has served this nation creditably in multiple roles. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Alex Otti says that he wants to remove Abia State from the National Grid completely, "even though it's a PRIVATE enterprise" and many Nigerians are busy cheering him and his idea like this is something truly positive. Are we really a serious people at all? Imagine the entire electricity of a state being owned and controlled by private enterprise(s), doesn't this leave the people at the mercy of the firm? Or you forget that electricity is a basic amenity that should be provided by the govt if we have serious leaders? Has privatizing anything ever benefitted the masses in this country? Take the only working refinery for example, today we are at the mercy of Dangote, he can increase and reduce prices at any time, and we have no choice because we are dependent on that one refinery that is privately owned. If Abia goes fully private, consumers will most definitely pay more, because there's a 99% chance the govt won't step in to regulate in the long run, and of course, it's private so the goal is to make profit whichever way neccesary. Abia State govt gets allocations, but wants to privatize electricity. The problem with many Nigerians is that once someone is put on a pedestal, logical thinking automatically goes off the window.

There is simply no realistic scenario where Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso would deputize Peter Obi. Those pushing for it need to wake up to the political realities on the ground. In practical terms, Kwankwaso commands a long-standing structure, a defined political base and a movement that has remained consistent over the years. If such a combination were ever to materialize, the only politically workable arrangement would be the reverse.

Dear Citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Remember when I told you that a vote for Peter Obi, either as President or Vice President in 2027, is a vote for a Presidential pardon for Nnamdi Kanu? Well, here, in his statement released today, is the proof. Peter Obi says Nnamdi Kanu should never have been arrested, let alone tried. But the truth is that Nnamdi Kanu is the head of an organisation named the Indigenous People of Biafra, which was declared a terrorist organisation by the Nigerian government. And he has major supporters and sympathisers, including Mr Peter Obi, who affirmed on a Channel Television interview broadcast that Nnamdi Kanu has done nothing warranting arrest. But is that true? Mr Kanu gave a broadcast on Radio Biafra in the first week of October 2020, in which he urged his followers and supporters to burn down Lagos and kill military personnel as part of the #EndSARS protests. His exact words were as follows: "Lagos airport should be on flames. Breach the perimeter fence and burn down Lagos. Anybody, if you have a double barrel, if you have a pistol, anything you have, give it to them, let them go and kill them. Penetrate the airport and set Murtala Muhammed Airport on fire. Set it ablaze right now. Then the world will listen". Continuing, Mr Nnamdi Kanu said as follows: "You are dealing with animals. Fulani Janjaweed. They are animals. They do not reason. They do not reason. You don't know them." Thereafter, he received a call on his broadcast on Radio Biafra, and berated his followers on the line for not killing military men. He said as follows: "How many policemen died? I don't want to hear, 'They kill us, they kill us'. How many did you kill? How many police or army did you kill? Mr Kanu was then told of the casualties inflicted on the military, to which he responded as follows: "Thank you very much". The very next day after Nnamdi Kanu's broadcast, Lagos lost over ₦700 billion in property damage during #EndSARS protests and tens of soldiers and police officers were killed. That amount is twice Anambra State's 2024 budget. 80 BRT buses were destroyed, along with the Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, the most advanced forensic laboratory in Black Africa. Next, they set ablaze the Lagos Oriental Hotel, before burning City Hall, Igbosere court, which was the oldest court in Nigeria, and almost twenty police stations. Finally, they looted banks, shoprite stores and multiple malls. And this is the person Peter Obi claims is innocent? Nigerians, never forget this in 2027 and beyond. Peter Obi must NEVER be President of Nigeria! Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. Meet Imam Abdullahi Abubakar the Imam who saved over 300 Christians in Northern Nigeria from bandits by hiding them in his mosque for safety. He was later honoured nationally for his selfless and compassionate act towards the Christians in his community. No one shows more love and tolerance towards Christians than Muslims, because in Islam, we deeply respect Christianity and can defend it just as we defend Islam. No matter how the world tries to portray Islam, the light of Islam will continue to shine brighter every day.

@KwankwasoRM It is amazing that all of a sudden, Northern political leaders found their voices in echoing the Nigerian unity and sovereignty, but these same leaders never thought it wise to condemn the atrocities. The fact that Muslims are killed does not excuse the Christian genocide claim.

I have noted with increasing concern the heightened pronouncements on Nigeria by President Donald Trump. This follows his designation of Nigeria as a “country of particular concern.” It is important to emphasise that our country is a sovereign nation whose people face different threats from outlaws across the country. The insecurity we face does not distinguish based on religious, ethnic, or political beliefs. The United States should assist the Nigerian authorities with better cutting-edge technology to tackle these problems, rather than posing a threat that could further polarise our country. The Nigerian government should also consider appointing special envoys from its distinguished diplomats to engage the American government. Additionally, it is necessary to appoint permanent ambassadors to represent Nigeria’s interests on the international stage. To my fellow countrymen, this is an important moment where we should emphasise unity of belonging over division. God bless Nigeria. - RMK
