@itselaynez ooooh such a good point! i think this is one of those things that seems like such common sense that it’s actually easy to forget about it.

@JodiLFord Always write a thank you email afterwards! If I had two candidates that were both good, the one who writes a thank you email can separate themselves from the pack. Super simple but not everyone does it

@NataliaTomepsy @mrminipuff it is so much tougher than I anticipated 🥲 I overthink it all too, and it’s hard to not feel like you’re a nuisance reaching out to all these busy professors/PI’s. forcing myself to stay optimistic because what choice do I have!! haha
