Tonight I’m going to talk about Charlie. Remember Charlie? He lives here in the house with us now. He was another stray who was homeless. All I want to do is love this cat. But every single time I pet him or snuggle with him he goes after the other cats and attacks them. I am at a loss. If I ignore him he’s peaceful. See his ear? He was trapped neutered and released. But he isn’t feral. He is a sweet boy. But my poor girl who is the only girl in the house is taking the brunt of it. He goes after her first. It’s always about ten minutes after I pet him for a few minutes.

This has gone beyond Repealing the Gillard Amendments. This proves the need for a mechanism that specifically grants women the right to single sex spaces, sports and services. Women must have the right to gather, organise and participate to the exclusion of all men when necessary. This decision proves the vulnerability of all women to the worst off men.

This is revisionist history. I imagine feeling accepted was a huge part of the case for Jason Tickle. Wanting to be considered the same as women. Has it worked? No. He got one woman fined, but she doesn’t now magically think he’s a woman. None of us do. The case only exists as he’s a man. The case in itself is evidence that he’s male. He won the court case, but made himself loathed in the process. He highlighted glaring issues with legislation, left women without their rights and made Australia look utterly batshit. All in the name of acceptance. What an exercise in futility. Sall however has overwhelmingly won public opinion and on that basis laws will be changed, which is the real solution to this mess.
