California will be bankrupt by 2030. If you’re expecting a state pension, it is at risk. If you don’t believe it, check Grok or Gemini and explore how California politicians changed the reporting rules on your pension so they could hide how underwater it is. The middle class citizens of California will soon be asked to pay a huge price to bail out the state. Why them? Because that is where most of the wealth of California resides. It’s easy to single out “billionaires” but there aren’t many of them and they can and will all leave before the bottom falls out. They are leaving in droves already. The mismanagement in California is biblical - and the scale is huge because it’s the world’s 4th largest economy. California politicians and their henchmen are now entering the coverup phase where they can no longer hide their financial incompetence so they are taking from average California residents to try and hide what they’ve done: You will soon see ballot initiatives with fancy tiles like “billionaire tax”. But those are lies. They are mechanisms to tax everything, every way: Excise taxes Wealth taxes Private property confiscation It’s all happening now. If you want to preserve California, you will need to stand up because California has become a kleptocracy.

BREAKING - A 92-page report by the California State Auditor has found that over $70 billion in taxpayer funds have been lost, including $2.5 billion in SNAP fraud, $24 billion on fighting homelessness, and $18 billion for a high-speed rail where not a single track has been laid.

Jordan Henderson scoring his first Brentford goal in his 600th English game just proves clubs now chase big names for quick headlines over building real futures. At 35, one simple finish gets celebrated like a milestone when he's miles past his peak from Liverpool days. Spending heavy wages on veterans blocking youth paths shows panic buying instead of smart planning. True milestones belong to players growing with clubs, not late arrivals padding stats in quieter sides. Time to prioritize tomorrow's stars over yesterday's captains.

this is a very common and powerful tactic - underplay yourself even if you are giga rich, pretend you're middle class. Places less of a target on your back and makes you more relatable/likeable CT doesn't like rich people b/c there's natural envy

@johnkonrad @ssankar When did Russia, which had a pretty impressive Empire and still considers itself an imperial power, when did it ever have a navy that did not suck ?

There’s a flood of posts quoting NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang call to lean into peace with China and Palantir’s @ssankar, an US Army reserve colonel, calling to prepare for war. Both miss the real fulcrum of global power: Seapower. No empire in history ever rose, or survived, without a great navy. And China now has the largest fleet on Earth. The mystery isn’t how big it is. It’s why they built it. Because so far, they don’t use it for anything but harassing poor Filipino fishermen. If Jensen’s right, if China truly wants peace and prosperity, then prove it. Use that massive navy to deliver humanitarian aid to nations in crisis. Use it to defend merchant ships through the Red Sea. Use it to pull stranded sailors from wrecks and protect global trade. Use some gunboat diplomacy to force North Korea to open up to your new vision of prosperity communism. Use it to pressure Russia into ending the war and then flood their nation with factories and infrastructure and all the things you make so well so they can prosper without expansion. Or, if you want to kick ass, China has made it clear they don’t like Muslims. Well go topple Iran. I really hate the last option BUT we absolutely must see your Navy doing something to promote world peace. That’s what we need to invest in Jensen’s vision of a prosperous China. Show us! The easiest way? Invite foreign officers aboard your warships. Train with other nations. Show the world your intentions aren’t conquest, but cooperation. That’s how America does it. You can’t walk across a U.S. Navy deck without bumping into a European or Pacific ally working inside the rails of our ships. We put friends inside our most guarded commands where they could easily sabotage our lethality not because we’re naïve but because that’s what real trust looks like. You can’t make promises that your Navy is a force for good. You have to bring foreigners from across the world aboard for long deployments and show them. And this can’t be tours at the dock. It has to be long deployments. Deployments long enough for barriers to fall so your officers tell with honesty their intentions and hopes for your grand fleet. Or, if what some claim is true, that the warships you built are really just a jobs program, then nerf them and donate the hulls to poor nations struggling to protect their fisheries andtrade. Don’t ask us to trust a nuclear power with the largest Navy this century is intended for peace. SHOW US. China could do this tomorrow. It has more ships than it needs to defend its coast. And everyone knows Americans don’t want another land war in Asia. So the question is simple: What did you build that navy for? If it’s peace, PROVE IT. If it’s power, then don’t be shocked when the world prepares accordingly. I greatly prefer Huang’s vision but until China shows us its true intent at sea, the only rational choice is to side with Sankar’s realism over Huang’s hope. Sailors can’t afford to set sail on a voyage of hope. The sea is too dangerous. Huang can not ask the US Navy to sail into unknown without preparing for storms, it’s not in their DNA as sailors.

@catturd2 @BasedMikeLee FYI. Pedophiles are attracted to pre- pubescent girls and boys. I'm not defending Epstein. But he had sex with teenage girls, 14-17 that had physically developed sexually. They were underage, so criminal and immoral, but that does not make him a pedophile.
