Has anyone asked Mark Carney where he intends to live after he's no longer prime minister?

They're renaming the friendly and familiar "Lewis Farms Community Recreation Centre" to "mistahaya wîkihk," which is even more offensive to the reader because it isn't pronounced as it is spelled.
Also, city property taxes are going up 6.9% this year.

This is one of the dumbest immigration policy ideas imaginable.
The Trudeau government already turned Canada's human capital immigration system on its head.
Prioritizing the PR applications of millions of low skilled TFWs would only deepen the damage, and is a recipe for continuing to crash Canada's per capita GDP.
Huge numbers of upwardly mobile younger Canadians are leaving the country to pursue opportunity elsewhere. In other words, we are bleeding human capital.
So who in their right mind imagines we can become more productive and prosperous by focussing our immigration intake on the lowest skilled jobs in the economy?

@alanfryermedia Not necessarily true. Too much advertising money from Canada is spent on American digital platforms. Millions of dollars in taxpayers’ money is spent on these US platforms and not Canadian media. This is the choice of government and Canadian business.

If a news organization can’t survive without the largesse of the federal government, it’s not producing content that Canadians want to read and are prepared to pay for. Worse, they become - or are perceived to be - nothing more than another cog in the Liberal media machine.

FYI: Norway's sovereign wealth fund invests 100% of its portfolio outside the country, in order to avoid distorting the domestic economy. What Carney is proposing is exactly the opposite.
