What Colorado republicans don’t seem to understand is that we’re not a swing state. We’re firmly blue, which means the local vote will overwhelmingly be for democrats. Even IF we had an insanely good republican candidate, we simply don’t have the voting base to overcome the democrat majority. And before you say, “it’s the voting machines,” … “it’s fraud,” … “if all republicans voted,” those are simply scapegoats for reality. Republicans are down 92,107 registered voters compared democrats, which doesn’t even include independent voters who tend to vote for democrats at a 6% higher rate than republicans. We simply don’t have the numbers. So this isn’t about Marx vs. Bottoms. This isn’t about fraud (though there certainly is some). This isn’t about mail-ins (which are convenient, but ripe for manipulation). This isn’t about Jena or Jared. This is strictly a numbers game. The candidate doesn’t matter. Democrats don’t even have to cheat. State elections are direct democracies. We either have the votes or we do not. And sadly, we do not.

This morning I went to the post office to mail a package. I began talking to the gentleman who I have always dealt with for years, he asks about my family etc. He knows I was a Trump supporter, and he asked me about it today. I said no, I no longer support President Trump he has betrayed his base and not kept his promises. The gentleman agreed and said he hears it all day every day. Mind you most people who go to the post office are older folks, if Trump has lost them at the numbers, it appears he has, this will be a landslide. The mid-terms are going to be a blow out for Democrats, and it isn't because they are better, they aren't, it's because Republican were handed the ball and they intentionally fumbled it over and over again.
