I was shocked today while having a conversation with a client that people aren’t aware Mark Carney’s brother works directly for the UK monarchy. His brother, Sean Carney, works at Kensington Palace. How come people don't know that?!?

Today we remember the Battle of Danny Boy, where our soldiers fought with huge bravery. Instead of celebrating them as the best of us, Lord Hermer went after them. He knew allegations of war crimes were almost certainly baseless. And Starmer handpicked him as Attorney General.

22 years ago today The Battle of Danny Boy. What began as an ambush in Iraq became over 3 hours of brutal fighting ending in hand-to-hand combat. To the men beside me that day — your courage and determination will stay with me forever. Hermer & Shiner couldn’t lace are boots!

Facial recognition for Tommy Robinson rally this Saturday. But not for the pro Palestinian march. Same city, same day, same Met Police. If the law doesn’t apply equally, it isn’t the law - it’s politics. thetimes.com/article/071cd9…

Labour hasn’t learnt the lesson on this since their deliberate attempt in Parliament to stop the UK Leaving the EU led by Keir Starmer as shadow Europe Minister. It was shameful behaviour then to try to thwart a democratic vote and now he is trying again as Prime Minister!

The Brexit Derangement Syndrome is off the scale at the moment. Reform (formerly known as the BREXIT PARTY) just swept to victory across working class areas. Response? Oh, it’s obviously time to rejoin the EU… Do these people even believe in democracy?

Daniel, quick question to test the logic, This is Joanna Lumley. She was born in Srinagar, Kashmir in 1946 to British parents. Raised in Britain, no Indian ancestry. Is she Indian? By the same standard you applied to Suad Mooge (“born in Ireland without Irish heritage is Irish What else could they be?”)she should be. But we all know she’s British. Birthplace alone doesn’t confer national/ethnic identity when parents and culture say otherwise.

While everyone is waiting for Wes to resign, there is a GCSE marking scandal which needs sorting. There was an error made by OCR in their GCSE Maths exam last year, this was only uncovered thanks to the hard work of a teacher. More than 1,000 students missed a grade boundary by one mark. Ofqual reviewed the matter & upheld the complaint. OCR have shamefully *refused* to re-mark the papers even though students may be forced into unnecessary resits or are missing opportunities due to no fault of their own. Not ok. I have written to OCR asking for a meeting & calling on them to remark the affected papers. Doing nothing is not good enough.

People have been nasty to me (sob) for asking how many of the Plaid intake is in heterosexual relationships and have children. I am therefore happy to report a husband and wife duo elected from Gŵyr Abertawe: Gwyn Williams and Safa Elhassan. Both eye specialists. And here they are, from July last year, determinedly marching up the Mumbles Road, with the other four @Plaid_Cymru candidates, demanding more guns for Hamas or something. (Gwyn is on the far right of the picture. But obviously he's not 'far-right' . . . if you get my meaning.) But don't worry, the new Plaid SMs promise to focus on and prioritise what's really important for Wales, rather than playing student politics. And if you believe that . . . walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-new…

🚨 Hounslow Council spent more than £115,000 last year on… …programmes supporting asylum seekers and refugees. This included: 💰 £23,000 on fitness
💰 £7,500 on arts and crafts
I understand councils have legal responsibilities to support asylum seekers and refugees. But I struggle to understand how funding arts, crafts, and fitness programmes makes sense… …while local residents are waiting years for housing and support themselves.

Keir Starmer’s Labour government has recently removed the 2 child benefit cap. So you will receive more benefits the more children you have. They’ve also announced extra benefits for men that have multiple wives, extra for 2nd, 3rd or even a 4th wife. Britain is becoming a Muslim state.
