@NickPetralia_ I understand the first, despite it being a ridiculous excuse. The second makes no sense. They’re gonna spend money rebuilding a whole new roster no matter what, it’ll be a wholesale turnover with a disaster season of this magnitude.

@JonHillManBoy Would assume it’s a mix of Grant’s buyout + the idea that BC doesn’t want to spend money building a new roster (but again that’s my opinion)

According to the Athletic, there is no plan to fire Earl Grant as of this moment. I’ve heard a similar sentiment from people within the program throughout the season. Plans can change, but it seems Grant’s in for 26-27 if the season ended today.
