@mrfundman Since 2018 my wife and I have owned all 5 Tesla Models...we both drive Teslas. If we can help answer any questions about ownership, driving, or anything else Tesla, please don't hesitate to DM me.

Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce.
• Starting price: $640,000
• Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive
• Range: 280 miles (expected EPA)
• Peak charging speed: 350kW
• 122 kWh battery
• 1,050 horsepower
• 0-60mph: 2.4s
• 800v
• Four-door four-seater
• Four electric motors
• OLED screens
• Weight: 4,982 lbs
• Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm
• Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car.
• Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels
• The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered
• 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S
U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. More photos in the thread below:

Yea, it was close. I will say that was the first time I’ve really experienced FSD. Was mind blowing. I’d probably grab a model 3 or model y just for FSD.
Definitely not hating on it. I loved it. After the ride, My wife tried talking me into buying it (and she absolutely hates how it looks).
I may just be using the range as an excuse.

I test drove a cybertruck for the first time last week. Amazing machine. Was really tempted. Still am. The range is basically a deal breaker.
I live 2-2.5 hrs from Dallas. I want to drive there and back comfortably. My Silverado EV is inferior in every way—but gets 450 miles.

We need a 400 mile range Cybertruck still please

@AaronJRolen Just spend 20 or so minutes on the trip ALar a Tesla Supercharger, and LET IT DRIVE YOU. You'll arrive at both ends much happier, much more relaxed, and much more ready to go.

@OrlandoLorenzo @SawyerMerritt He fucked us man. Buy google if you want exposure. They also have a self driving car division

@rajuvamsi007 @ethanmckanna How, based on what you and I know, can we make that decision?
English

@ethanmckanna If you were the project manager for Robotaxis, would you begin scaling right now?
What is stopping you from flooding the market with all the Y's that don't have a buyer after production?
English

I’ve been stress testing Robotaxi as hard as I can over the last few days and have been incredibly impressed with performance across every difficult scenario I can find like impromptu road/lane closures and construction areas with flaggers.
Have a long list of important product issues/bugs (bad pudos, broken audio, connectivity issues, lots of UX stuff), but the actual driving performance has been great.

@ICannot_Enough Grant only surfaces from his hole in the ground when TSLA is down. Otherwise he hides like a piss ant.

I have paid over $10B in taxes in a single year, more than anyone in history.
If I exercise and sell stock options, the combined federal and state income tax is ~45% (I still pay California taxes for every day I spend there).
Then there is another 40% tax paid on my estate when I die.
Overall, I will probably end up paying trillions in taxes.

@MerianneJensen @TeslaFamBen @congressdj Nice story, with a nice ending. Thanks for sharing it with us.
English

Several years ago, @congressdj decided he needed a Tesla. I was against it because I thought they were pretentious. Plus, I didn’t think electric cars would work because that’s what the media always said. But as is his way, he went ahead and got one anyway.
He showed me how to drive it, and I have to admit it was pretty nice. But I still preferred my Honda. Over time, though, I started to see how much money we were saving on gas (he drives a lot!). So, I stopped rolling my eyes and just let him enjoy it. 😝
A few years later, he came to me with this crazy idea that we should get a used one for our 16-year-old son. I was completely opposed to it. I thought it was a bit much. We looked at the budget and he agreed to check out some used Honda Civics. What we found was that they were ridiculously overpriced and would still require gas, oil changes, brake changes, and all the rest. Then he found a used Tesla lease for $200 a month. We had to admit that was a steal.
Teslas are one of the safest cars you can buy. I never doubted that. But when my husband showed me all the features we could enable to limit aggressive driving, track habits, and save money, it just made too much sense. So we got it for him (he’s working it off in various ways).
With all these Teslas, my husband is naturally trying to push me into one. I’m not there yet, and not because I hate them, but because @Tesla does not make an SUV big enough for a family of 6. And I’m just talking about seat count.
We rented a Model X for the family while in Hawaii over Christmas. Yes, it fit the whole family, but it did not fit our bags. Six carry-ons and a big suitcase meant I had to take a minivan cab to the hotel while my husband picked up the car. It was great for driving around the island but not for the logistics of traveling as a family.
So until @elonmusk announces a car that can transport everything my Honda Pilot can, I’ll have to drive what my husband calls my tractor a little longer.
Finally, I want to say something about Tesla’s Full Self-Driving. I watched it when my husband used it a few years ago, and it sucked. He liked it, but I would never dare use it. I didn’t trust it. What I see now on his 2026 Tesla is nothing short of incredible. He literally doesn’t touch the wheel anymore. He leans his seat back like some kind of gangsta and just lets it drive itself.
The biggest and final thing I’ll say: With the self-driving (which has made me fear for my husband less since he no longer drives aggressively) and the other safety features Tesla is renowned for, I completely trust it to carry my kids around. And as a protective mama bear, that means a lot!
PS - No we don’t have a Cybertruck. My husband insisted on taking that picture with a loaner he had, once. 🤦♀️ 😂

@JforMichigan @JCChristopher @krassenstein Your opinion is not an argument.
But here is a fact, you are a puppet.
English

@JCChristopher @krassenstein I said it is capable. I drive a Jeep with six on the floor and ride a Versys. It's safer to be a competent operator and not rely on sketchy tech. The cyber dumpster is too heavy and is fugly.
