Is there a "credit report" expert on X? I have a 30-day late reported on my mortgage on my credit report that is incorrect, but I am struggling to get it taken off my credit report. Obviously, as a real estate developer and investor, my credit score and payment history is extremely important. I have appealed to all 3 credit bureaus and provided supporting documentation, including a letter from BMO Harris bank that stated they flagged the fraud by mistake and the payment should have gone through. I've appealed to Associated Bank (my mortgage holder) and they reviewed the issue and documentation but also denied my request. I've spent countless hours on this and at this point am pretty pissed. Do I just get my lawyer to start scaring people or is there a smarter way to get this resolved?

@shawngorham If you swallow it, it's no good. Trust me, my wife is about as crunchy as they come and we're a low tox/no tox house...and this is the one and only area across the last decade where she, to her credit, claimed we went too far in our attempts to use better, cleaner products.
