On Carnaby Street last night, a kid on a bike cycled up, saw it was me, looked friendly at first then offered up his favourite “lyric”: “Heil Hitler.” I wasn’t sure whether to share this. I hadn’t experienced that personally before. The most striking thing: I wasn’t shocked. No threat. No anger. Not a victim. Just: what has he been taught Hatred is learned. We are not defined by it. We answer it by what we teach.

4 years ago this little fella was found abandoned in a barn in a very desperate state. Sam went to his rescue and admitted it was touch and go as he was so very ill. Well, after lots of love, attention & mischievous behaviour we think he’s done ok. Happy birthday Jonesy.

Request for help* The boss won’t let me eat mini rolls at home. Hence why my mum let me scoff them when I visited her on Tuesdays. So, I’m looking for anyone who will accommodate me on a Tuesday so I can devour mini rolls. I’m house trained. And we can talk tachographs.

I was advised by a fellow OAP at the tube station this morning that the barriers can open a minute or two before 9am - the normal opening time for the OAP pass. Sure enough, we were both able to enter at 8.58am, which we did, grinning and bidding each other a pleasant day.

It’s my mums birthday today. Happy birthday from your favourite boy. Before you ask, that really cute baby is me. I’ve not changed much.

@history99917180 Today was a ‘worth it’ horse day…. Daughter, her two and a half year old jockey and EHPPS Twiglet won the lead rein class and went on to become reserve champions. This horse mum shed a tear.

It’s 7:45am on a Sunday. I’m going to clean up after a horse. I spent most of yesterday in a horse clothes shop and left it after being robbed of my pension. I have no idea why I’m smiling.

@james_xond We didn’t get bored. We used our imagination. Also, there was no ‘on demand’. We had the excitement of waiting for things. For example, if you had a favourite TV programme you had to wait and watch it when it was broadcast.
