Spare me, Marsha. Tennessee’s violent crime rate is one of the highest in the nation. Californians make more $, live longer, and are overall happier — while you promote policies that have resulted in lawlessness and higher depression rates.
Time to turn Tennessee blue.

It looks like Gavin Newsom will be in Nashville this coming weekend. As Governor of California, he has driven his state into becoming the most unaffordable in America. All I’ve tried to do for the past 2 weeks is lift people up. Raise their spirits. Make them part of this Super Bowl experience. And what do I get for my trouble? People being nasty beyond belief to me. Well we may have lost but at least I can still rest my head on the pillow tonight knowing I win and lose with class. Unlike a lot of people online. If being a jerk to me online makes you happy I’m sad for you and will pray for you. #NEPats

I was the Justin Herbert vote.
The guy had the worst offensive line in the NFL all season and despite that he was working miracles in almost every single game.
Stafford's OL became 2/5ths as bad as Herbert's for 5 minutes and he became a turnover howitzer.
He embodied 'value'.

Let me help @NESpower CEO. Your plan and messaging have been incompetent. We can deal with that later but here’s what people need:
• Give citizens a realistic timeline to plan around
• Stop texting people whose power is off that it’s actually on — it’s driving people insane and makes you look like you’re lying about the number of people without power
• Tell users you called MTE CEO & competent Florida utility CEO’s for help (no time for ego)
• Hire more linemen and engineers, I know of multiple NES turned down in recent days who are professional linemen who work disasters
• Post more detailed plans, ideally on video where someone normal explains what’s specifically being worked on right now and what’s being worked on next — this gives everyone realistic expectations and understanding
• Use resources from state and Feds to assist with tree clearing + explain you’ve done this
• Regularly provide info on warming centers and transit to them — ask local gov for help with the transit for elderly and offer free transit for them until their power is back on
• Stop posting tone deaf BS that ignores how angry the community is at you — own it and get to work
• After it’s over, resign — it’s the honorable move

It’s our job at NES to keep the power on, and we will not stop until every household in Nashville has power again. This storm was unprecedented for Nashville and our country, affecting almost half of the U.S. Its icy layers caused widespread damage across our service area to transmission lines, substations and distribution networks. At this storm’s peak, 230,000 Nashvillians were without power, the largest number ever. Today, we have less than 90,000 homes remaining without electricity.NES has brought in partners from around the country to engage additional available, qualified crews. We’ve quadrupled our workforce in a few days, from 200 to almost 1,000 lineworkers from nine states and across Tennessee.
