@CoachSaleh1 @CBB1934 I don’t have many mates but most are in RL. One is at the Dogs, one other painful bastard is at the Roosters. They’re not players.
I won’t be shocked if he is a Rooster.

@JustPaul444 @CBB1934 No contract has been tabled. Who told you this? Name your source lol
English

@CBB1934 @CoachSaleh1 He won’t but he has next year to run. I’ve been told the contract tabled to Preston isn’t close to what he could get.
I agree with everything you’re saying I just don’t think they can get to where they need to money wise.

@JustPaul444 @CoachSaleh1 I would be shocked if Burton is resigned.... if woods is the future.... then Burton has no future at the dogs
English

@CoachSaleh1 @CBB1934 Burton is on $1.1 next year mate, Preston will be at the Roosters. Dogs best off has a 5 in front of it.
English

@CBB1934 He isn’t going anywhere. Most likely scenario is Burton goes.

Am I the only one who has never heard ‘wunderkind’ said this way? Or have I just been living in a cave for forty years?

@centralNRL @BulldogRitchie The fact our NSW coach is good mates with Dean Ritchie makes it almost a plan for next year job. Astonishing Daley got the job again imo.

@SCWhisperer Cant/Garner are big plays imo, pull the trigger and correct, great call. Wrong also very problematic.
Not many SC pundits really putting anything on it, all guessing like we are.

@JustPaul444 50 is massive? (Which will likely be like 10-15 next week)
English

@LeagueScenePod @Danny_Weidler He’s on $1.1m next year. Regardless th chat won’t be to keep him on the same pay packet.
What do you pay a left centre?
English

Bulldogs half Matt Burton has opened contract talks with the club.
Burton and his manager met with Phil Gould over Easter and there’s a desire from both parties to keep Burton at the Bulldogs long term.

@NRL_SC_Addicts What has Fifita done wrong? He will play all the byes

@SCWhisperer There’s no reason at all. Every year there’s players that have gold dust sprinkled on them. The earlier we realise it the better. Don’t own either of Hynes or Brailey but they’re getting the 50/50s that’s for sure.

Would really love a clarification on the decision to award Nicho Hynes a try assist and a line break assist during his Round 6 clash with the Roosters after his pass comes off the head of an opposition player.
But nothing was credited to Stephen Crichton during his Round 4 clash with the Knights after his pass comes off the head of his teammate.
I’d understand if Burton was awarded some kind of involvement with this play, but looking at the stats that have been kept, this try to Jacob Kiraz has been given 0 involvement to anyone.
Hynes initiates the attacking sequence in a pretty traditional 4 attack on 4 defence. Hynes looked to play short to Billy Burns before a deflection, so not his intended target.
Crichton receives the ball in a 4 attack on 5 defence, and then holds the ball up, engaging 3 of the 5 defenders, and leaving Kiraz’s primary defender in no man’s land.

@JustPaul444 If Hau was closer to the line, sure. But there is significant distance between Hau and the defensive line. Plus, he catches the ball flat footed.
It’s tough, but it’s been consistent this year.
English

@Danny_Weidler @9NewsSyd @NRLonNine After the last few rounds is he a right or a left? Left Latrell and Best are in better form if he reverts back to the right Turbo and Staggs are surely winning that battle this year.
He’d need 2/3 rounds back to prove himself again imo. 🤷🏽♂️

LATEST: Bulldogs coach Cam Ciraldo says Stephen Crichtons injury won’t rule him out of Origin contention @9NewsSyd @NRLonNine
English

@centralNRL It’s Shane Flanagans fault he won’t buy anyone to replace Kyle. So it sort of still is his fault.
English

@bradfogarty101 Wonder how they train. Always seems like it’s new. Clunky at best.
