@Wtffattie @4SigmaSmarter @MissJilianne @pragmaticTesla No, just went by the price info sign pictured in the OP. The one that doesn't mention anywhere that a pass admits up to 4 ppl. Also didn't do any research since any desire to visit the US died in the past year, so no reason to dig any further!!

I think it’s disgusting the United States charges $100 per person visiting our country to enter a National Park. Embarrassing too!

@MissJilianne @pragmaticTesla Its $250 per vehicle which covers every park for the year. A pittance compared to the tens of thousands a Euros family will spend when they come here during their Holiday month.

@WalterSobchakSr @ryangrim Cause 18, 20 year old girls can't possibly go & join the IDF, right?? Cause hillel chapters of multiple universities haven't invited IDF soldiers to come & praise their experience to students for years, right? It's just the usual party planning & charitable activities, huh?!

@ryangrim “Note: In this case, the students are literally funded to go to Israel and play a support role for the IDF.” Complete lie. The Hillel students at New School are a bunch of 18 year old girls who come together for Shabbat dinners. You’ve really turned into a huge Nazi pig.

The New School just sent an angry email to its student body saying that despite the vote of the student senate, Hillel will still get funding. The administration criticized the senate for trying “to hold students responsible for the acts of governments.” Note: In this case, the students are literally funded to go to Israel and play a support role for the IDF.

@NoGrammer @anishmoonka If the wheat doesn't comply with EU food safety regulations (border check documentation, samples, etc) it doesn't get in. It's destroyed or sent back. The wheat US/Canada exports to EU is definitely not the same as the one for internal consumption.

@anishmoonka Italy imported ~800,000 tonnes of wheat from Canada/US soaked in roundup. Odds are that pasta came from Canadian derum wheat.

That cacio e pepe in Italy is about 80 grams of pasta, served as a first course. The American version is several times the pasta as the whole meal, with bread and a Coke beside it. The portion gap is the easy half. The harder half is what's inside the food. In Italy, around 10% of an adult's daily calories come from ultra-processed food, the kind manufactured in factories with ingredients you wouldn't keep in your kitchen. In the US, the number is 58%. The American grocery aisle is mostly chemistry that calls itself food. Wheat Thins, Stove Top stuffing, and Rice Krispies all contain preservatives, like BHA and BHT, that EU food has banned. The US's own National Toxicology Program has classified BHA as likely to cause cancer in humans since 1991. The US still allows both. The FDA lets companies declare their own additives "Generally Recognized as Safe" without sending them to a regulator first. More than 10,000 chemicals are now legally allowed in American food. About 99% of the ones added since 2000 were cleared by the manufacturer instead of the FDA, according to the Environmental Working Group. That same loophole keeps potassium bromate in American flour. The EU banned that dough strengthener decades ago after rat studies showed it caused tumors. Titanium dioxide, banned by the EU in 2022 over DNA damage concerns, still colors American candy and salad dressing. Even the wheat is grown differently. In December 2023, the EU banned spraying glyphosate weed killer directly on a crop right before harvest, a practice used to dry it out faster. The US still allows it, and trace residues end up in the flour your bread comes from. Italy's adult obesity rate is around 20%. America's, at 42%, is more than double. The US calorie supply per person hit roughly 3,900 a day in 2025 per the USDA, near the top of every developed country. An Italian eats a smaller plate, and the food on it is cleaner. Both differences show up on the scale.

@TheWickeddOne @Tobi2195 Well, it was enough for a couple of accounts to start exaggerating, on both sides, & now we've got a full feud going on😂. At least it's a break from arguing about politics!! & Bonus..we get nice pics of bread stands from everywhere!!

@Justnotgoingto @Tobi2195 And see, I'd absolutely agree that our regular sandwich bread from the bread aisle is worth being attacked But to act like we just.. dont know what bread is? Or have never tasted "real bread" as if we dont have bakeries from every country in the world.. Its just weird lol 🤦‍♂️

@TheWickeddOne @Tobi2195 The original discussion was about how store bought regular bread in the US is full of additives, made from grain full of chemicals, due to lax food safety regulations. Like bread that doesn't get moldy, doesn't break apart in water... Somehow 'not real bread' became "no bread"!

@SjBarrister @OmzyMontana @PolitlcsUK Yeah, sure, the problem is definitely the ppl opposing ISR's crimes in Gaza, its meddling in their countries gvn't & policies, and by no means ISR's actions & the ppl who support it no matter what!!! God forbid anyone be allowed to have a different opinion!

Here is what the Stasi and our racist criminal justice system can do. The same thing they did in Stockport. Round up these racist fuckers lying online about a "genocide in Gaza" and thus fuelling religious hatred and actions like this. Hold them on remand. Issue deterrent sentences. That is what we could do - if we weren't so fucking racist.

I just spent 2 incredible weeks in Italy and it is so frustrating to come back to the U.S… How is it possible @RobertKennedyJr that the Italian food supply is so vastly superior. I literally ate bread at every meal, dessert multiple times per day, and generally ate way more than I do in the U.S. Not once did I have acid reflux. Not one headache, no digestive problems, and I didn’t gain any weight. If I ate the same way in the U.S. (I used to at times) I would have gone through a full bottle of Tums and Advil just to get through the day… WHY does the U.S. allow glyphosate in wheat, high fructose corn syrup in food and who knows what in our milk products? The difference in quality of life in Italy vs the U.S. is staggering from their common sense (anti corporate) food regulation. WHY aren’t more people upset about this? The U.S. is the richest country in the world and we eat like one of the poorest.

@fidgeyhatesleft @dmweisberger @RobertKennedyJr The same flour that is made from poisoned grain? Or the "safe" organic flour that is how many times more expensive? No one is saying you can't get food, that's your ..... "understanding"! The problem is the crazy choice for a civilized country: get sick or pay through the nose!

NO - shop on the outer aisles of the grocery store - are you trying to tell me that you can't get any food at the grocery store? THat is retarded. You buy flour at the grocery store - you can get meat at the grocery store ( I buy farm to table because we live in an area that has a lot of farms and I choose to support local)

@fidgeyhatesleft @dmweisberger @RobertKennedyJr So you're telling Americans that if they want to avoid getting poisoned by greedy companies, they have to spend a lot more time /money than other countries on procuring their own "safe" food??? Because the gvn't can't be bothered to make those companies stop poisoning ppl?

You can eat the same here in the states - that you don't is your own laziness. I make my own bread. I buy farm to table - I eat fresh vegetables and fruit - I make my own pasta takes all of 20 min including cleanup - and I can make different flavors. Bread is about same of prep time and I can add whatever I want to that as well. Let's do this - Let's STOP blaming others for our own laziness - and STOP expecting everyone else to do what we are too damn lazy to do ourselves. You're the only one to blame for what you whine about.

@PoliticoKen @SaraForTexLege Tax & spending bill doesn't add to the deficit. Tariffs are a tax cut. Millions for condoms in Gaza. Gas prices have decreased in the last year. Something about ICE removing public safety threats Biden & democrats are at fault for everything, Trump is awesome, most well read, etc

This is why the United States has almost no credibility internationally in the current era. Our ambassador to the United Nations has the audacity to lecture the world about what Iran doesn’t have the right to do – utterly oblivious to the fact that the ONLY reason they have exercised such control is because of the immoral and illegal war of choice we launched. This is another humiliating, condescending example of the absurd behavior of a declining world power…
Ambassador Mike Waltz@USAmbUN

Despite Iran’s claims, the Strait of Hormuz is NOT Iran’s to wield like its own moat and drawbridge. It is NOT a hostage, NOT a bargaining chip, NOT a toll road. Critical waterways are too vital to be obstructed. Now is the time to act—together—to defend freedom of navigation and the global economy.

It’s impressive because a lot of women milk the paid family leave policy at their company and stop working very early (which means other people have to cover for them – men and childless women) and then take forever to come back all on full salary. It’s impressive because it’s rare. Not unheard of but still rare. Pete Buttigieg took massive paternity leave when he went and purchased a baby from some surrogate, neither he nor his partner birthed the baby out of his butt hole but he skipped work on full pay for a long time.

@Justnotgoingto @TonyGreenstein The evidence will be heard and the jury will decide on evidence - all indictments in a trial are read out at the start and the judge sums up the law on each count and summarises the evidence- that’s the process- have you never been in any court trial ?
