The kid responds, “America has to let people go to the doctor free.”
AOC knows her supporters are low-IQ enough to believe this was a genuine interaction and not staged.

Mayor Mamdani says his city-owned grocery store in East Harlem won’t open until 2029. It will cost a ridiculous $30 million.
This will be the first of five city-owned grocery stores he has planned to open in NYC.
Mamdani is wasting tax dollars in an attempt to put smaller grocery stores out of business.
It’s not like there’s a shortage of grocery stores in NYC either.
He’s creating a failed solution for a fake problem.

NYC Mayor Mamdani announced on Sunday that his administration will build a city-run grocery store on city-owned land in East Harlem. He says he “looks forward to the competition” of battling against corporations. But what he’s failing to say is that small grocery stores, which need to make a profit to survive, will be the ones that suffer when faced with a city-run grocery store that isn’t necessarily funded by what it sells. It’s a lose/lose. Other U.S. cities (and other countries) have tried to make city-run grocery stores work. They’ve all failed, so many don’t even try anymore. Mayor Brandon Johnson in Chicago bailed on his plan to open city-run grocery stores after public criticism and feasibility concerns. Some of the consistent problems with these kinds of grocery stores are long lines, shortages, lack of variety, outdated products, corruption, bad customer service, and inefficiency. New York City also doesn’t really have a demand for these grocery stores. There are over 1,000 grocery stores already in NYC, most within walking distance. The bigger stores have sophisticated systems and are able to negotiate lower prices by buying in volume. City-run stores can’t do this since there are always so few of them if any. So these stores end up operating at a loss and failing. It’s always the same result. Mamdani is naive and will fail. He already has with almost everything he’s tried to do. Instead of coming up with new positive solutions or implementing old successful strategies, he’s going with old failed ideas. Socialism has never worked. It never will. (nbcnewyork on TT)

New York City supermarket billionaire John Catsimatidis went nuclear in June, when Zohran Mamdani, who had proposed opening a cheap city-run grocery story in each of the five boroughs, won the democratic primary for mayor. Catsimatidis held a press conference with Bodega owners; publicly threatened to shut down his 30-plus stores if the democratic socialist won the election; and ranted on TV. “He’s not qualified... this is silly,” he said on FOX News, comparing Mamdani to Fidel Castro. “It’s one big con game.”
He also called President Trump, who publicly backed his friend. “[Mamdani] actually wants to take over the grocery stores of John Catsimatidis, who’s a great guy, a rich guy,” Trump said of his buddy, whose net worth Forbes pegs at $4.8 billion, “He actually called me the other day, he’s concerned his stores are going to be taken from him, and they won’t be run like John runs them, believe me, he runs a good operation.”
Now that Mamdani has been elected, Catsimatidis is once again agitating. “I think a lot of business people are reducing their exposure to New York City,” he tells Forbes. Catsimatidis—whose $7.8 billion (revenue) Red Apple Group also owns a Pennsylvania oil refinery, some 400 convenience stores and a portfolio of real estate stretching from New York to Florida—had been looking to move Red Apple’s headquarters to New Jersey if Mamdani became mayor. He changed his mind after Tuesday’s election. “New Jersey didn't go the right way,” he says—after the state resoundingly elected Democrat Mikie Sherrill as governor. Now, he’s looking for “friendly states” to relocate operations, with Florida being the most likely candidate. “The key word is a common sense place to do business in,” explains Catsimatidis.
