K1 and QUAI!!!! RVN’s block reward was cut in half, but network difficulty and price barely changed — mining profitability effectively dropped by 50%. To restore balance, network difficulty would need to fall by about ×2, but that hasn’t happened yet. ⛏ Miners are moving to more profitable networks — such as QUAI, where with the same algorithm the revenue per unit of hashpower is currently several times higher. 🔼 Incoming hashpower to QUAI is pushing network difficulty up.
