Hi I posted a couple days ago about mr fox sleeping in the bed I got him and here he is this evening.
A few of the comments made quite upset me so I want to put this straight….
I’m not doing this for me …. He has been coming to my garden since I moved in 9 weeks ago and is very tame and when I saw him sleeping under the trees all wet and sad I had the idea for the beds.
He is free to come and go as he wants I’m not trapping him or keeping him as a pet
He often brings his mate
I have no intention of moving for years so he will always have me and my partner
In such a harsh world, all I'm striving to do is offer this sweetie some solace to rest his head upon, along with nourishment.
I hope that clears up some nasty comments about me trying to Make him a pet and how awful I am.

@KateEMcCann I’m retired now but when I joined the Police in 1987 the number of officers nationally was approx 135,000. The numbers have not been that for years yet successive governments say they are putting more officers on the streets. They need to tell the truth.
English

@InspGadgetBlogs @kvnbhrly1 Probably because their numbers were drastically reduced years ago. Horses and dogs are still one of the most valuable parts of policing and still cannot be replaced. Reducing numbers further is simply short sighted and lacks understanding.
English

@kvnbhrly1 Agreed. We haven't been able to get a dog for years anyway.

@montie @JPonpolitics I honestly thought I had lost it for a second.
English

Can't believe I heard this correctly but I did... rural affairs minister Daniel Zeichner just told @JPonpolitics that with some tax planning farmers can avoid paying inheritance tax, which Gov had to introduce to stop people from buying land to ... avoid paying inheritance tax

“You can’t park that there mate” Officers from @MPSRoyal_Parks were made aware of a helicopter that was forced to land due to adverse weather conditions in #RichmondPark The pilot is waiting for a break in the weather before he can leave 🚁

#FridayFeels for me as PD Jinx & I passed our Firearms Support Dog course!! Almost 5 yrs to the day that I set eyes on a photo of the 5 week old puppy that had been reserved for me. Proud of the small feisty one!

@EuropeInvasionn Any senior management team member watching this should be asking are we doing enough to train and properly equip our officers to defend themselves. Then ask how many days Officer Protection Training do you give them?

Happy 5th Birthday PD Jinx!!! Where the last 5 years have gone I don’t know. 🐶💙#JinxTheMinx #SmallButFeisty

@ResponseMonkey If this was Germany, France or other European countries then there would be an array of other options available. PSU’s shouldn’t have to stand there and take this. The use of other public order options in the U.K. is long overdue

Yesterday our fearless canines were called upon once more to keep our communities safe. Throughout the day and night many of our dogs and handlers worked tirelessly to restore order, alongside welcome help from our friends at @LancsPolDogUnit. No injuries, plenty of treats today.

2 weeks training for the team starting tomorrow and needed to treat my shiny brand new collar so thought I’d give the rest of my kit a clean…3 leads, 1 harness & 3 collars later….wonder what I can add next!! 😂 @TTLLCo #LeatherCleaningTherapy

@Protect_ServeUK @LinkedIn @JJSharpers @sussex_police @policeconduct Absolutely terrible. No other words.

@Camper_girl Just so, so, sad. Mental welfare is so important and sometimes we just don’t realise its impact on those closest to us . Thoughts are with you all 😢
