MOGADISHU, Somalia — A group of Federal Members of Parliament and several civilians remain stranded at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu after the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) reportedly ordered a Daallo Airlines flight to turn back from Garowe. The aircraft was transporting lawmakers representing Puntland in both houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, alongside ordinary citizens, when it was denied permission to land in the Puntland capital and forced to return to Mogadishu. The Federal Government has yet to issue an official statement regarding the specific reasons for blocking the flight's landing in Garowe. #Somalia
