@FoxNews If HUD can find tens of thousands of dead or ineligible tenants, that’s a system failure. How does this get missed for so long? What other departments are wasting taxpayer money at this scale?

CLEANING HOUSE: HUD has ordered all public housing authorities and owners receiving department-funded housing to verify tenant citizenship and eligibility in 30 days after an audit flagged tens of thousands of deceased and ineligible tenants nationwide. "We will leave no stone unturned," HUD Secretary Scott Turner said. "We are proud to collaborate with DHS to execute on the president’s agenda of rooting out abuse of taxpayer-funded resources. Ineligible non-citizens have no place to receive welfare benefits."

@FoxNews I just don’t believe it! You have to get recertification every year in person. So how are they getting away with that? I smell bullshit!!! Plus, each unit goes thru inspection every year too! Each recertification, you have to provide all your documentation as if you’re applying
