Shocking new report reveals controversial Jesuit James Martin as key author of Synod process: "Does Pope Leo XIV now face the difficult task not merely of governing the Synod, but of arbitrating the meaning and limits of synodality itself? That question no longer appears abstract. It has become urgent. For if synodality comes to be perceived by large sections of the faithful not as authentic discernment but as managed consensus cloaked in the language of listening, its credibility may begin to fracture irreparably. And herein lies the true gravity of the present moment." catholicunscripted.com/p/the-synod-an…

I just can't help but feel my "lived experience" of this one man undermines the credibility of this whole process

The Synod on Synodality spits on Our Lord and his revealed truths. Catholic faithful need to understand this and keep well away from the synodal nonsense.

@AuditeInsulae @Pontifex "Bésame Mucho" Tucho should have been sacked and defrocked on Day One of Pope Leo's Pontificate. Why continue to keep this smut writer in the employ of the Church?

There is something deeply moving & real in this prayer because it arises from parental anxiety & hope. Catholic parents throughout history have worried about their children drifting from the faith, falling into danger or becoming spiritually lost. This prayer expresses the instinct that parents cannot ultimately control the souls of their children, but they can entrust them to grace.

Sister Mary Wilhelmina passed away in 2019, yet in 2023 her body was discovered to be remarkably incorrupt, showing no significant signs of decay despite not being embalmed. This extraordinary phenomenon has been associated with certain saints throughout Church history and is seen as a sign pointing toward the future Resurrection of the Body.

A young French Catholic carried a 35-kilogram cross for 14 hours to restore the vandalised Aneto cross at the summit of the Pyrenees. In August 2025, a Christian cross was returned to the top of Aneto, the Pyrenees' highest peak at 3,404 meters. Originally placed in the 1950s by the Centro Excursionista de Cataluña as a symbol of faith, it was removed for restoration in 2023.

"With the publication of his first encyclical just around the corner, Pope Leo XIV is poised to add his voice to the Church’s tradition of social teaching, reflecting on what it means to be human in the midst of a digital revolution. According to reports, the encyclical — a papal letter to the Church — will be called Magnifica Humanitas, Latin for “Magnificent Humanity.” It is expected to present the Pope’s moral guidance on how to approach artificial intelligence." ... "With Catholic social teaching, the Church seeks to present the principles of “human dignity, the common good, solidarity, subsidiarity, the universal destination of goods, the preferential option for the poor and for the earth” in a way that responds to the issues of the times, she said. Catholic social teaching is “not just theory,” Rowlands said. “This is speaking of the witness and the mission of the Church for the salvation of all souls who are embedded in the world. So this is about the story of the creation of the world, of the purpose of human beings and the destiny of human beings.” ncregister.com/news/from-reru…
