Today we released the new version of our AI. It is the best AI for every purpose and we are also very responsible. Give us more money now. Here are some charts showing this AI is exactly the same as the previous one, except we juiced the benchmarks by epsilon:

Esri just brought gaussian splatting to the web. ArcGIS Maps SDK 5.0 introduces a native GaussianSplatLayer for SceneView. Splats now stream directly into browser-based GIS apps.

Blade Runner 2049 = 2,049 Followers! 😄 🚀 GPU-accelerated color adjustments for Gaussian Splatting in Unity URP! New shader-based controls: • Exposure (exp2-based brightness) • Contrast (midpoint-based) • HSV hue shift & saturation • Color filter (multiplicative tint) All applied per-pixel in the fragment shader for zero CPU overhead. Artistic control! 🎨< @theworldlabs #GaussianSplatting #madewithunity #GraphicsProgramming #VR

@HenrySpragge @Jonathan_Blow Have you shipped a game? The first 90% feels easy, but the final 10% is the hardest part longer/harder than the first 90% combined

@Jonathan_Blow Nah, easier than I thought. Still a lot to learn and takes a long time, but the tools like Unity and unreal and insanely helpful and great

@kantallive > For almost two years, this game went largely unnoticed, played only by a small audience of programming game fans. But now? At launch, it exploded! Not really. The game had around 13k followers before release (~50–90k wishlists at launch), so it wasn’t an overnight success.

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS! I'm not the creator of the game - just an indie enthusiast passing by - but when I saw the chart for Farmer Was Replaced, I was shocked. For almost two years, this game went largely unnoticed, played only by a small audience of programming game fans. But now? At launch, it exploded! I know it probably went viral among YouTubers and programmers, but to me as a creator, this shows that persistence can take you to places you’d never expect to reach. Two years without a big fanbase or visible success can be discouraging, but to all indie devs out there - don’t give up on your dreams. Keep making games, share them, and enjoy the process at every stage. Eventually, it all pays off! Big congrats to the dev Timon Herzog!

Is gamedev still even viable? The games made by talented devs that I follow for years crack maybe 100-300 reviews, and stuff that blows up literally comes out of nowhere. I feel like it’s genuinely just luck.
