🚨 STATEMENT FROM SENEGAL FA 🇸🇳
The Senegalese Football Federation has strongly condemned CAF’s decision, describing it as:
“Unfair, unprecedented, and UNACCEPTABLE… bringing disrepute to African football.”
FSF confirms it will take the matter to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne as they move to defend the rights and interests of Senegalese football.
They also reaffirm their commitment to integrity and sporting justice, promising to keep the public updated on developments.
This story is far from over…

CAF’s decision has shaken African football to its core.
The Confederation of African Football has officially stripped Senegal of the 2025 AFCON title and awarded it to Morocco.
From champions on the pitch to losing it off the pitch.
A decision this big raises serious questions about fairness, rules and regulations and the future of the game on the continent.

Why doesn’t the Pope spend his days attacking Islam?
Let me ask a prior question. Did Jesus spend His public ministry attacking the religion of Rome? Did He travel through Galilee denouncing Greek mythology? Did He organize campaigns against Egyptian gods?
In the Gospels, we do not see that. We see Him proclaiming the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14–15). We see Him calling Israel to repentance. We see Him correcting distortions within His own covenant people. Much of His sharpest public rebuke is directed toward religious leaders who “bind heavy burdens” (Matt. 23:4), not toward pagan temples. He says plainly that He was sent “unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt. 15:24).
That does not mean He approved of paganism. It means His mission was proclamation first. Invitation first. Conversion of heart first.
The Pope’s primary vocation is similar in structure. He is Bishop of Rome. His first duty is to strengthen the brethren (Luke 22:32). Much of what he writes and preaches is aimed at reminding Christians how to live as Christians, how to repent, how to love, how to witness faithfully.
That does not mean the Church ignores serious differences between Christianity and Islam or any other religion. Throughout history, there have been apologists, theologians, and teachers who carefully contrasted the faith once delivered with other belief systems. There still are. Sometimes that work is necessary and charitable.
But denunciation is not the center of our mission. Christ is.
If we keep Him at the center, truth will be spoken when it must be, but always in the service of leading souls toward Him, not merely winning arguments.

Almighty God,
You who split seas, raised the dead, and called light out of nothing,
I come to You with a request that humanly speaking is already dead.I ask for the impossible!
Not because I doubt Your power, but because I have run out of every other door.This thing before me is sealed, finished, laughed at, declared irreversible.
Men say it cannot be.
Time says it’s too late.
Logic says it’s absurd.But You are not bound by any of those courts.
So I stand here, small, bruised, probably foolish,
and I ask You to do what only You can do:
override reality as men know it,
break the decree that has already been written,
and give me this one thing I dare not even speak aloud to most people.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the kidnapping of priests, faithful, and students in Nigeria and Cameroon. I feel great pain, above all for the many young men and women who have been abducted and for their distressed families. I make a heartfelt appeal for the immediate release of the hostages and urge the competent authorities to take appropriate and timely decisions to ensure their release. Let us #PrayTogether for these brothers and sisters of ours, and that churches and schools may always and everywhere remain places of safety and hope.
