@DTSK21 Vert true @AliceMundia . It makes it difficult for them to pursue their dreams beyond school. Glad DTSK is working in partnership with NITA to ensure the young adults with disabilities have got certification for their skill based training @nita_kenya

Persons with autism and related developmental disabilities face difficulties accessing quality inclusive education many young adults exit the school system without any form of certification making it difficult to transition and live independently or with support.

Using disability-related words as insults creates an unwelcoming & hostile environment and makes persons with disabilities feel excluded and isolated. Such phrases disrespect and devalue people. Use of such phrases shows lack of understanding & ignorance about the barriers faced
