Aid collected by Kurds in Diyarbakir was allowed to enter Kobane — BUT Damascus demanded that it be branded as coming from the Syrian Red Crescent. They want to take credit for aid that is necessary exclusively because of the actions of the Syrian Arab Army. Despicable.

Bugün sivil toplum kuruluşları yaptıkları duyuru ile tırların Kobane’ye ulaştığını duyurdu. Gazeteci Leyla Ebdi, tırların geçişini görüntüleyerek tırların üzerine Suriye Kızılayı’nın amblemlerinin konulduğunu söyledi. Görüntülerdeki tırlarda amblemler net görülüyor. Neden böyle? Edinilen bilgiye göre tırlar Kilis Çobanbey sınır kapısından geçti. Yani bu durumda AFAD ile görüşmeler yapılarak sınırdan tırlar geçti. Sivil toplum örgütleri ilk günlerde bu duruma karşı çıkmıştı. Yapılan mutabakat ve bürokrasi neticesinde bu yol kullanılmış. AFAD koordinesinde tırların geçişi sağlanmış. Bu detay filli kuşatmanın azaldığına işaret olabilir…

It’s been 24 hours and none of them have come up with an example of a law that grants Syrian Kurds all the same rights as Syrian Arabs have.
That’s because no such law exists in Syria — something no government partisan will ever admit.

The existence of legal rights is one of the easiest things in the world to verify. Just show the law. This should be easy for government supporters to do, and yet they can never do it. That’s because there isn’t a law granting Kurds full legal equality.

This is rather ironic, because you actually shared pictures from the Tishrin square massacre, claiming it showed Bedouins - when it's actually confirmed to be Druze. The victims even were identified.
Yet, you never corrected yourself or apologized.

The amount of lies spread about Syria is astounding. In reality, much of the recent savagery has been carried out by Israel-backed rebels in Sweida. But Twitter counts on people’s ignorance & sectarianism to sell a different story.

The great thing about @JAMnewsCaucasus is that it publishes articles written throughout Caucasus, always explicitly labeling them as "View form Baku/Yerevan/Tbilisi/Sukhumi etc" This should be applauded in a region where even choice of toponyms starts arguments

Armenia increasingly wants EU membership. Armenia might not even survive physically if Georgia is a dictatorship that fulfills Russia’s wishes, let alone succeed at democracy and EU integration. All supporters of freedom in Armenia need to rally against the Georgian Dream.
