Trying to figure out tires. Range a slight concern. Road noise more of a concern. Thoughts on anyone using these 2 regarding those topics appreciated.

@RatsTesla I use the Duratrac RT in the inter. Love the look, but the noise is very noticeable, and you can feel the grip of them. Range goes down slightly.

@tesla2moon @Cybergearco One of my first purchases with my CT. I put in the Tesla liner on the bed and this one fits awesome with the adjustable legs.

Installed @Cybergearco cargo divider. Quality feels solid and the fit is spot on. Nice and tight with no rattles.

When I see stuff like this it dampens the desire to want to own another @Tesla Cybertruck. The constant negativity & concern for hostility from idiots wore me down after 18 months. 😔☹️

@ApogeeWiz @Jurkowsk1Moon I’ll actually did the other day. Was in slow moving traffic and some one in the car next to us slowly going by gave us the “L” hand so I just put both fingers up and stuck my younger out as the truck was going by lol. I don’t care anymore haha

@DevinOlsenn Same goes for Cybertruck owners. There’s a known issue where the adhesive that holds that stainless steel panels start to wear thin and the panels will come loose. If it happens outside the warranty it’s a $3,500 fix. How should that be our problem when it’s a manufacturer issue

I had to get my front cameras cleaned yesterday and the cost estimate from Tesla was $77
I really disagree with charging customers who are subscribed to FSD for this service. It’s not my fault the glass is dirty, so why am I paying for it.
Asking a customer to pull apart the camera housing and clean it themselves feels like a bit too much as well.
Not trying to sound ungrateful at all here - but I really think this is something that should be reconsidered.

@Teslarati 100% better than 14.2.2.5 on Cybertruck because wipers are working well now and it’s not constantly swerving around random marks on the road. Unpredictable speed profiles are the main issue for me now, but I haven’t had any interstate use to test that aspect yet.

I got the dreaded PCS alert this morning (Feb 2025 built 📐) and it’s been like pulling teeth for them to push free supercharging. I’ve asked 3 times and still nothing.

I got an official update from Tesla about the Cybertruck PCS issue resolution: * Tesla has pushed out a firmware update to all affected CT's that will enable Supercharging while AC is down (from the PCS failure). * The FW is set to bypass Wi-Fi delay so any CT owner can download ASAP. (This has not come through for my truck as far as I can tell). * Tesla will be covering Supercharging for all affected owners until they resolve the parts delay, which is being worked on aggressively in parallel (should be live in next day or so).

@thecyberfam I had the slat installed and now I have to take it back because they have to reseal it. Who know if it’ll fix the problem or not

With a hard rain early this morning we got a really good test of the newly added slat to our tonneau cover.
Sadly, as many suspected, adding the slat was not enough to stop pretty significant water intrusion into the bed.
We'll now move on to replacing the seal under the tonneau applique between the tonneau and the roof glass.

@nevetsyad @minusYCore @rhensing The PCS parts are so back ordered. My service center has 5 trucks there not including mine. My appointment has been pushed back once already. But now they're having me just drop it off on Wednesday because mine won't charge at all anymore.

I get flipped off on the daily driving my CT in the portland area.
I cannot think of the way I want to respond- but I want to. I usually am just in a state of shock (similar feeling I had when I was 12 on my bike on my paper route when a guy pulled up next to me, honked and exposed himself).
I digress. I don’t want to respond with more hate, but with some kind of thought provoking statement, that cuts through it.
It can’t be audible because the exchange is so fast.
And it has to be clever because it must disarm.
Share this so more people can help me figure this out?

@cybrtrkguy Agree. At this point it’s a believe it when I see it mentality. Like using FSD, but I don’t care anymore about what the future holds bc so much changes or never comes. If it comes awesome, if not then I’m not disappointed bc I didn’t care to begin with lol

That does not mean FSD is a failure or not worthy of entrusting my family's safety with today.
Because it IS really, really good. I use it daily.
I'm just not interested in timelines and future plans. Or focus groups or early access. Or or or
Give us all the update or it literally does not matter. It does not exist. It is worthless.
Unsupervised FSD, Cybertruck Summon, Powershare with Powerwall, Autopilot, etc.
Like MKBHD has always said: never purchase tech based on a promise of future updates, abilities, or returns. Base your purchase on what it is today.

I am no longer looking forward to future FSD updates.
They are erratic and consistently under-deliver previous promises.
Instead, I'll be happy when the update downloads to my Cybertruck.
It's the only way to stay sane when the next frontier of tech never *actually* arrives.
