@PurpleMoonMeep I use to supervise an autistic guy and everyone would say he just stands around and does nothing. So I just described the job like a gameplay loop because he loved video games and told everyone to tell him directly what they needed him to do. Became one of my most reliable guys

I knew a fellow autistic person at work. Didn't smile much, but they were relatively normal and pleasant. At least, I thought so. One of the managers told her to 'smile more' and ever since, she was just.... Not herself.

Mena can give an impassioned speech about how he considers defeating Daigo in a FT10 one of the greatest accomplishments ever. Daigo literally has been prep time Batman and has defeated people performing significantly better than him SEVERAL times. and people wanna dismiss this and not help build anticipation for it and instead equate it to some Netflix BS cash grab like these aren’t 2 of the greatest SF players of all time in a situation where the older player has always shined. can we help ourselves as a community just a lil bit?

We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

When I got my TV deal with Adult Swim, I met the VP of AS who was also the showrunner for Space Ghost Coast To Coast back in the day, and when I told him I watched the show all the time as a kid and it shaped my humor, he was like “well at least someone liked that crap”.
