I should have been more clear. It’s not the size that’s the problem (I am here every day calling for condos much larger than this home). It’s the detached, four wall exposure, it’s the gratuitous front yard. It’s the low-density typology that means you have to drive to meet basic needs. Many professional parents increasingly value convenience and amenities over privacy and space. And we need better apartments for them.

Genuinely what is the appeal of high-maintenance homes like this anymore when Modern Family life means spending your weekends at kids sporting events and having a busy event calendar outside of the home?

America has never had a downfall. Our kill ratio in Vietnam was 10:1, we mopped Afghanistan and Iraq. Ask saddam Hussien about the downfall of America.
