@RichardBurgon Probably similar to the number of Labour voters who now regret their decision and wish they voted for a party who hasn’t gone back on almost every promise it made.

A new poll shows 89% of Labour members support a Wealth Tax. Other polls show a massive 78% of the public back a 2% wealth tax on assets worth more than £10 Million. The Goverment should listen, drop the cuts to disability benefits and bring in a Wealth Tax instead

@i_iratus What you’re not considering is that most wealth is not liquid. Lots of millionaires don’t have 2% of their net worth in a bank account, so how are they going to pay your wealth tax?

The Government should not be balancing the books on the backs of the poor and disabled. On @lbc I called for a wealth tax instead. A wealth tax of just 2% on assets over £10 million would raise £24 BILLION per year. Let's tax extreme wealth, not punish the poorest.

@Lovethebikini @GBNEWS The economy is already in a mess so sales are down. They also have to consider redundancy consultation and paying notice periods (which everyone will want to make sure is at the lower rate before April)

@PeterStefanovi2 Probably because the NHS is stifled with inefficiency that can’t be addressed because of red tape. If a private business can deliver it more cost effectively and create a profit for shareholders, what’s the issue?

You have two choices: Choice 1) give the NHS 1bn to reduce waiting lists, investing in the NHS staff and resource Choose 2) give the private sector 1bn, taking resource away from the NHS, and taking money out into CEOs hands. This is straight up NHS privatisation. #SOSNHS

@RichardBurgon The poor become the rich and super rich by taking risks. Any more tax and this country is no longer a place to take risks - I’ll take them in other countries where the reward is worth it. Your primary school tax plan won’t work.
