I'm incredibly relieved to have the truck back! I'm not very pleased with the extended downtime and poor communication from my local dealership. I think this aspect of legacy auto could get a whole lot better.

@gabemonroy @Rivian Two vehicles and we buy what we want. Thus usually different brands. CarPlay gives us a common interface across both. For me, it does not matter how good the in car UI is.

Rivian bet on an integrated in-car UI/UX instead of CarPlay and Android Auto — despite tons of consumer pressure.
Their new assistant and native Google Maps experience vindicated that bet completely. Kudos to the @Rivian crew.
