Stacy Garrity said the quiet part out loud: if she’s elected, recreational marijuana legalization in Pennsylvania isn’t happening. While Governor Josh Shapiro is fighting to keep revenue in Pennsylvania instead of losing it to neighboring states, she’s doubling down on an out-of-touch agenda that ignores the broad bipartisan support for legalization. PA is not her priority — her toxic agenda is.

Yes, school choice is a winning issue. Except you won't get it from EITHER of the two old parties. Only my plan pursues true school choice by awarding every student an $11,500 voucher to fund a private education AND eliminate property tax at the same time. KenK4Pa.com/education

How many more reasons do we need to get Pennsylvania’s government out of schooling? It should already be enough that more than half our kids are not reading or doing math at grade level. It should be more than enough that stupidly-high property taxes are driving seniors out of their homes. And it should definitely be WAY more than enough that boys are invading girls’ locker rooms and sports. But no, they had to go and add blue-haired social engineering too. Sheesh! It’s enough to make you vote Libertarian! KenK4Pa.com/education.

🚨UNCOVERED: PA Republican Senator Chris Gebhard helped bankroll an app that pushes transgender ideology on children in PA schools. Senator Gebhard of Pennsylvania’s 48th district helped push Kooth USA, a woke mental health application, in Pennsylvania schools even after the app was marred in controversy for promoting gender ideology to children throughout the United Kingdom. Kooth is a UK based mental health application that functioned as a social media application for kids while in school. The platform claims to have offered self help materials, anonymous counseling, and anonymous chat forums for kids. 😳Critics quickly uncovered disturbing realities about the platform. GENDER SICKNESS: The self help materials would affirm children’s thoughts about their gender regardless of how crazy they were. For example, if a boy said that they were a girl then the platform would tell the child that they were correct. UNQUALIFIED COUNSELORS: The anonymous counselors who spoke to children about their mental health were not required to be licensed therapists. EASY ACCESS FOR CHILD PREDATORS: Predators could easily make accounts on Kooth and join the anonymous chat forums to talk to young children about their sexual identity. NO PARENTAL CONSENT: Kooth was rolled out without parental consent and often does not share any information with parents. Despite these issues, Senator Gebhard still helped Kooth secure a 3 million dollar grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services to operate as Kooth USA in Pennsylvania schools. Unfortunately parents noted all the same issues eventually prompting DEMOCRAT governor Josh Shapiro to shut it down. But, it was too late. Kooth USA rebranded and spread accords the country. What Kooth needed to reach our children was an entry into the American market and Republican Senator Chris Gebhard gave it to them with his support for the platform. Why would a Republican Senator do something like this?

"New York City spends roughly $37 billion/year to educate about 850,000 kids. That's over $42,000 per child per year. And the results are abysmal. Two-thirds of fourth graders can't do math properly and almost three-quarters can't read at grade level... ...What we can do, Mr. Mayor, is tell every mom in NYC that the $42,000 currently spent on that terrible education is going to be her money." Jeff Yass, one of the 2026 Alexander Hamilton Award honorees, on how we can solve NYC's education crisis through school choice.

⌛ Shapiro: Promised School Choice, But We're Still Waiting ⌛ In 2023, Shady Josh Shapiro agreed to a $100 million scholarship program to help kids escape failing schools, but then he caved to special interests and teachers' unions and vetoed it. Thousands of Pennsylvania families lost a real shot at a better future. Now in 2026, a new opportunity exists: a federal scholarship program that could deliver hundreds of millions in funding, without costing taxpayers a dime. But once again, Shapiro is stalling instead of stepping up to provide the proper education that students in Pennsylvania deserve. It's a pattern: More broken campaign promises and less opportunity for students of the Commonwealth. 👎 Read more 🔗: broadandliberty.com/2026/05/11/and… #PAGOP #ShadyShapiro #SchoolChoice

Do I have a plan to vote on Primary Day? Of course not. Instead, I'll be at my polling place collecting signatures to get my name on the ballot for Governor so that I can DEFUND primaries. Why are taxpayers milked to pay for the old parties' beauty contest? KenK4Pa.com

Here's a picture of Joshing Shapiro and me on that fateful day when I personally witnessed him voting against the bill he promised me in writing that he'd vote in favor of. The bill would have allowed minor parties to nominate candidates for all offices directly onto the ballot according to their party rules, and at their own expense. His stated reason that day for voting against it? He said he has to collect 300 signatures in January, where we have until summer. My reply? Josh, you guys PASSED that law! If you don't like collecting signatures in January, CHANGE IT! Don't put it on ME!! Joshing Shapiro. It's enough to make you vote Libertarian. KenK4Pa.com

@CheeseSpiff Joshing Shapiro will not debate me. He KNOWS that when he was my state rep, he promised me IN WRITING that he would support a bill to make it easier for third parties to get on the ballot. But... When the time came, he voted AGAINST it!!! That's why I call him "Joshing."

Huh! Just realized that the same idea about government diapers in California also applies to government schooling in Pennsylvania! But the problem with having that scheme here is more personal... The difference in price doesn't GO to you. It's PAID by you, paid by your property tax to enrich others. The solution? KenK4Pa.com/education.

How much are diapers at Target compared to Gavin Newsom's government diapers paid for by YOUR taxes? We went to take a look:

You quibble. One bureaucracy is an approved Scholarship-Granting Organization (SGO). Another is the IRS. By law, SGOs can take up to 10% of your donation. And what if I don't have a $1,700 tax bill? About half of PA households pay little or no federal income tax after deductions and credits, so half the people can't use it. Regardless, that's all beside the point. Did you read my plan for education? KenK4Pa.com/education. A piddling $1,700 check (minus the bureaucracy's cut) is a small fraction of what's needed to educate a kid. My plan pays the ENTIRE cost of a typical private education plus transportation. There's no need to waste money supporting the bureaucrats of your SGOs or the IRS. As a Libertarian, I want government completely OUT of education. But while Article III Section 14 exists, we do what we can.

@KenK4Pa @PAHouseGOP Oh my God, you don’t understand anything about how this works. Please read up on EITC and how the money goes from businesses straight to supporting students. If anything, as a Libertarian, you should be cheering this on and railing against public schools.

PA House Republicans 🇺🇸
Gov. Kathy Hochul of NY just became the second Democrat governor to opt in to the federal school choice program. That’s 30 states putting kids first. Why won’t Gov Shapiro make the same move for PA’s kids?

@SableMochan @PAHouseGOP And exactly WHERE does that federal tax credit money come from? From your federal tax dollars. So in the process of the cash going from you to the feds to the state to the schools, the various bureaucracies suck up the lion's share. Accepting federal dollars is bad economics.

At least our schools are not mediocre—they're ABYSMAL! More than half our kids can’t read or do math at grade level. And high property taxes prop up that failed system. Fortunately, there’s a plan to correct BOTH problems—and it’s not HER plan. Read all about it at KenK4Pa.com/education.

Spent the morning in Clarion County talking about Pennsylvania’s future and listening to the people who make this state strong every day. Pennsylvania should not be settling for mediocre when it comes to anything. We have the people, resources, and work ethic to lead again. This changes day one with the Garrity-Richey administration. Thank you for the warm welcome and great conversations! #GarrityRichey

Pennsylvania does have a Libertarian legislator: Russ Diamond from Annville. He started his political career as a Libertarian. I worked on his Libertarian campaign for state rep back in 2004, participated in his very-successful grassroots revolution called PA Clean Sweep, on his independent campaign for governor in 2006, even had him on my talk radio show to talk liberty. Is he a 100/100 Libertarian? No, but he's the best we have in the state house. And you're right: It doesn't hurt.

CHAOS ALERT: Within hours of a major court ruling to protect abortion rights, Stacy Garrity went on the attack. Instead of standing up for Pennsylvanians’ reproductive freedom, she doubled down on her “100% pro-life” position and called for the upcoming election to have consequences on abortion access. The Commonwealth deserves a leader who will continue to protect our rights, not open the door for abortion bans.

WHEN will Pennsylvania politicians realize their entire model of public education is flawed to the core? Accepting a piddling tax credit will not change that sad truth. Fortunately, there’s an easy solution: Complete divestiture of the government schools. Not only will kids actually learn the basics, the heinous property tax that supports such appalling education vanishes as well. Read all about it at KenK4Pa.com/education. While I'm writing, let me add that accepting “free” federal dollars is unquestionably a bad economic deal. That’s because every dollar you send to Washington gets laundered through its bureaucracy. Of course that sucks up so much money that only a portion of that dollar reaches the state. But then the state has ITS own bureaucracy to launder those tax dollars even further. And so does your local bureaucracy. In the end, studies show that you’re lucky to get a dime on the dollar for every dollar sent to Washington. And even then, should that remnant dime somehow find its way to its intended destination, too often it gets funneled to political cronies. On the other hand, if you kept that dollar local, you could educate ten times as many kids, build ten times as many roads, provide medical care for ten times as many seniors, and innumerable other tenfold savings. Using federal dollars for anything is a bad economic decision. Worse yet, accepting federal dollars is akin to accepting free drugs from a pusher. The next thing you know you’re addicted, and the pusher begins pulling strings to make you dance to the pusher’s tune. Are you accepting federal transportation dollars? Then lower your blood alcohol limits or we cut you off. Accepting Medicare dollars? Then force doctors to charge using the Medicare fee structure, or we cut you off. Taking federal education dollars? Then stand back, because here comes Title IX! It doesn’t matter what the topic may be. Accept the benefit and bear the burden. Even worse, those federal education dollars support a failed system. Read all about it at KenK4Pa.com/education.

Other states are signing up for the new school choice tax credit. Pennsylvania needs to get on board. As I’ve said before, this is a once-a-generation opportunity to empower parents to give their children the best education possible.
