@raghu_venugopal @RobynUrback No. We are not. We have no tier. 🇨🇦 health care system is a mess. Not until they were in their 90s did my parents need care. They were left to rot in Emerg. And their story is not at all unique, tragically.

@raghu_venugopal @RobynUrback you're misrepresenting robyn. she never said the only answer to public health care problems is more private health care. you made that up. like you made up the part about no one she knows has been to a Canadian ER. there's a good conversation to be had here. you're not helping

Wonderful evening at @cathmckenna ‘s launch of her book RUN LIKE A GIRL, an inspiring memoir of her life in the public eye as the Climate and Environment Minister in the Federal Government of Canada, and an advocate for renewable energy. Good to see @erinotoole too!

I'm proud to announce today -- four years to the day since The Hub (@thehubcanada) was launched -- the publication of a collection of 376 poems that have appeared in its pages: The Poetical Hub, available here: amazon.ca/dp/1998365670/ From biting epigram à la Martial to delicate Horatian lyric, from sombre lament to pure silliness, it's a collection with something for everyone. Today's poem celebrates the 4th Anniversary; the "sword of seven hundred songs" refers to the fact that this is the 712th poem I've published in The Hub in these past four years.

Everyday she sounds a little more like Baghdad Bob: “President Trump is the hardest-working president the American people have ever had,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. “He is constantly taking calls and working deals to advance our nation’s interests.”
