We all saw @GaryWoodland launching 196 mph ball speed 🚀 off the tee @TCHouOpen... but the 🔑 to his win was a much shorter club.
Here’s a 🤯 stat from @SmylieKaufman10 + insight on a putter change that led to the win 🏆

A very nice man that created an industry—Short Game Golf Instruction. No, he wasn't the first, and you can argue for eons about who's the best, but this gentleman made people think about putting, wedge play, and scoring in a completely different way. God Bless and RIP Dave.

"It's ultimately trying to match the right technique to the right player. And match the right putter to the right player."

@DropMyScore @Fit_For_Golf @LouStagner @iacas said the same thing. I would agree. If you looked everyone and a high enough % improved I think you would be able to infer it works. What Sample size and % do you think @LouStagner
English

@Fit_For_Golf @LouStagner @KenyonPutting Butting in - I guess if you have a big enough sample size then the other variables should wash out
English

I am going to be doing an analysis that I’m really interested in.
I have a list of tour pros that use aimpoint and the date they started using aimpoint.
Going to be doing a before and after to see how much their putting numbers changed.
I just took a quick look at two players and they both saw a big improvement after starting aimpoint.
English

@iacas @Fit_For_Golf @LouStagner @AimPointGolf Yes I would agree. Just to attribute specific things to specific players. I mean ultimately we all know it helps players. Just don’t know where this narrative that it statistically doesn’t came from.
English

@KenyonPutting @Fit_For_Golf @LouStagner While true, if a high % of them saw improvement, you could confidently say it’s likely implementing/learning @AimPointGolf helped them.
English

@LouStagner @Fit_For_Golf If the coach implements several process, which one can you attribute to a positive or negative performance ?
English

@KenyonPutting @Fit_For_Golf You could ask the same thing about working with a given coach. Was it actually the coach that helped or
Hurt performance?
English

@Fit_For_Golf @LouStagner That’s a very good point as these things are never just worked on it isolation
English

Hey Lou,
I have no dog in the fight with AimPoint.
Something I would be interested in knowing is if you can isolate these improvements solely to starting AimPoint?
For example did they start AimPoint when they started with a new coach? Did they also switch putters? Did they start practicing putting more or differently etc.
