@Lex_Jurgen You left out the part where he regained his starting job later that year and played pretty well (16 TDs vs 4 INTs in 11 starts). The team was really BAD that year and Chip Kelly was fired and we got Kyle Shanahan. It was definitely a mutual agreement to part ways after the year.

In every generation, we must remind our youth what actually happened with Colin Kaepernick: He never once protested when he was a starter, in either the NFC Championship or Super Bowl years. Not a peep. His play slipped; he sustained some injuries and lost his starting job. His kneeling did not start until he was the backup holding the clipboard. The media attention was immense. Especially for a backup QB. He had an 8-figure player option for one more year with the Niners, but he turned it down after they wouldn't promise him he'd be a starter. He wasn't fired. He quit. He believed he was worth a multi-year starter contract and left. No other team would take him. Whether that was a colluded blackball or a realistic assessment that he clearly wasn't a starting QB and not nearly worth what he wanted, or the media circus that would come with him, who knows? Almost certainly both. Kaepernick went on shortly to turn his public grievance into a tier-1 player deal with Nike (est. $20M) and later got a few million in a confidential settlement with the NFL. That's the Kaepernick-NFL story. That's it.

@realnickkupper @Chevron My local Arco had gas to under $4 if you used the app. Its gone up almost $2 since the war with Iran. I know I pay more for gas in CA, but that is not going to change the fact its gone up directly bc of the conflict with Iran.

Terrible people love bringing this up as if they are paying for it. A private nonprofit decides to give free tickets to poor people, students, etc and this makes you angry why exactly? It hurts you how?

@Duderichy All you commenting should volunteer for Junior Achievement day at your local elementary school. One day a year for 4 hours teaching whatever that years subject was and it was the most stressful thing I've ever done. I left each year with more respect for teachers not less.
