As the only journalist in the United States barred from the White House because of my reporting, I watched as an unqualified press secretary spewed lie after lie. She was not even number 1,000 when the 2024 information war was going on and many of us were taking bullets and lawsuits. But there she was at the podium, insulting them and lying to their faces about who pays the tariffs, why we were at war, and the Epstein files. It was sad to watch and a reminder that only the best in their profession are punished and attacked for doing the right thing. I couldn’t believe how fellow journalists continued to betray America and the Constitution, abandoning the people they were meant to protect. Apart from the entertainment, their lives were worse off. There was no American, apart from contractors, whose life was better because of the billions going to the military-industrial complex to bomb Iran. No one was better off because Trump accepted a private jet from Qatar and retrofitted it at taxpayers’ expense, hoping to convert it into a private jet. No one was better off because Trump was building the ballroom. Nobody was better off because Trump was making money through crypto or selling gold sneakers or Bibles. And no one’s life had changed because he had his name on the U.S. passport, the U.S. dollar, or U.S. bridges and buildings. And even on immigration, there was nothing long-lasting, and no one lifted a finger as the rule of law was being torn apart. Barred from asking real questions, demonetized, and left for dead, I couldn’t believe what I was watching. But I kept building, built DailyLetter.tv, and am so glad of what we are doing.
