There’s a new method kidnappers are using: *How the scam works:* 1. *The approach*: A man in a car stops next to you. He calls you by a name or says “Hey, get in the car! We’ve been looking for you.” 2. If you refuse and say you don’t know him, he immediately switches tactics. He turns to people around and says loud enough for everyone to hear: _“Don’t worry guys, she’s my wife. She has amnesia / she’s mentally ill. She gets confused like this. I just need to get her home.”_ 3. *Why it works*: People don’t want to interfere in “family problems” or with someone who “has a mental illness.” So they look away. That’s exactly what he’s counting on. That’s how he gets you into the car. That’s the strategy *IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU:* - Do NOT get in the car for any reason. - Be loud and specific*: Yell “*I DO NOT KNOW THIS MAN. THIS IS KIDNAPPING. PLEASE CALL THE POLICE AND HELP ME.*” The word “KIDNAPPING” makes people react way faster than “I’m fine.” - *Draw attention*: Drop your bags, sit on the ground, scream. Pakistan's Search & Rescue operations have successfully located and identified wreckage of K2 Airways Flight 1732 which was declared missing last night. The wreckage was recovered from 53 NM South of Ormara. Various air & sea borne assets were employed by PN & PMSA to locate the wreckage and efforts are underway to find the missing crew members.

🚨 BREAKING: A Boeing 737-400 freighter has gone missing in the Indian Ocean, just past the Gulf of Oman, after taking off from the UAE Flight tracking data shows an EXTREMELY rapid descent, dropping approximately 35,000 feet in less than 2 minutes, before disappearing from radar entirely. Pray for the souls on board. A search and rescue operation has been launched. It's not currently known what would have brought down the plane. The K2 Airways cargo plane (AP-BOI) was reportedly en route to Karachi, Pakistan.

National Alert 🚨 This guy came up to my little sister and her friends yesterday claiming to be scout for rage models and cotton on. He proceeded to make them try on clothes at cotton on and told them they will go for a photoshoot. And sent them a fake contract. Luckily they didn't fall for it. A 12-year-old boy, Bandile Makhubo, has apparently been kidnapped from his grandmother’s home in Palm Springs, Evaton. The incident took place on Saturday when four men travelling in a white Toyota Quantum kidnapped him. Evaton police have launched an urgent search and are appealing to anyone with information to contact SAPS Evaton on 016 596 1203.

Drug mule arrested before Tokyo flight at OR Tambo: A 23-year-old South African woman has been arrested at OR Tambo International Airport on charges of drug trafficking after police intercepted her before she boarded a direct flight to Tokyo. According to SAPS, Border Police acted on operational information and identified the suspect, who had travelled on a domestic route before attempting to continue her journey internationally. She was stopped upon her return to OR Tambo and taken for a medical examination, where X-rays confirmed the presence of suspected drug-filled capsules inside her body. At the time of her arrest, the woman had already released 28 suspected drug-filled capsules. The recovery process is continuing under strict medical supervision, with all recovered exhibits booked into the SAPS exhibit management system for forensic analysis. Police say the exact type and street value of the suspected narcotics will only be determined once laboratory testing has been completed. The suspect remains in police custody and is expected to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 29 June 2026, on charges of dealing in drugs. SAPS says the arrest highlights its continued efforts to disrupt transnational drug trafficking networks and prevent illicit drugs from entering or leaving South Africa through its ports of entry.
