Ok, so the AG of Virginia, Jay Jones, has filed an emergency appeal to the United States Supreme Court asking them to overrule the Virginia State Supreme Courts ruling, and while he may have sent it through spellcheck this time, he failed to change templates..because this one is still going to the Supreme Court of Virginia. The incompetence is mind blowing. 😆😆😆

To be clear, I know nothing about Lucas's businesses. But what I do know is this isn't a coincidence. This is corruption to the core. No way this investigation just happened to occur now. I hope all Virginians will condemn this. But of course I don't expect it.

The council and mayor and AG can clearly state this enforcement does not fall under the law and are permissible tactics by DCPD. See how that goes. That should resolve any confusion.

12 years ago there was a ban on exporting crude oil in the United States.
Energy prices are high, but imagine how much higher they would be if that ban had not been lifted in December 2015.

The surge in US crude oil overseas sales means the country was last week a net exporter of crude. (In the past, the US exported more crude oil *AND* refined products — combined — than it imported. But now it's an exporter on a crude basis, without the need of refined products)
