@KiddeSafety these 10 year smoke/co aiarms are trash! They go off randomly for no reason, quick Internet search shows that it's a huge issue affecting lots of people. I wish I never bought them, I already have to replace them less than a year later because of the false alarms

@KiddeSafety They refused to send me a new unit that costs less than $10 because it was 2 months over warranty! Ridiculous - I would say to my 17,000+ followers to avoid this brand, they don’t stand by their products

@KiddeSafety I live in a rental and we are required to have Smoke alarms. Well the quality of Kiddie is questionable. Brand new batteries and yesterday alarm beeps at 1am, thank you for interrupting my sleep. Get up reset the thing. Come home yesterday and dog is

@KiddeSafety so you got a question yesterday I've got two alarms that are manufactured in July 2015. I've changed the batteries out and they just go off for no reason I was expecting to hear back from somebody today but I guess you guys are too busy.

@KiddeSafety Don’t buy their products. I’m on my 4TH smoke alarm for my bedroom as they just fail with a fault error or end of life error within 3 months. Want to keep brands the same throughout the house but seems I’m gunna be out another few hundred to replace them all

Retired Firefighter and Fire Safety Educator Errol Anderson says he is lucky to be alive.  Last month, the FDNY responded to an early morning fire at his apartment building in Queens. The fire was contained to a 2nd floor apartment in a six-story building. There were no serious injuries to any residents, thanks in part to smoke alarms installed by our Fire Safety Education Unit. Anderson helped assist residents out of the building and used a fire extinguisher to help douse the flames before units arrived.  An escape plan and working smoke alarms saved lives that day. @KiddeSafety You might offer a 10yr warranty but the battery only last between 2 to 5yrs. Perhaps put the truth on the packaging? As for warrenty claims, when you call you get fobbed off to a website. 3rd one to fail this year. Wouldn't recommend them.
